Oh my gosh! My grandmother ALWAYS had a tin of Dorset Knobs in her cupboard in her home in Lebanon, Pennsylvania! Growing up in the 1960-70's, my brother and I refused to eat them! I vaguely knew that they were comfort food from her childhood (she ate them soaked in milky tea for a mid afternoon snack) but I always thought that they were strange. I can't believe that they are still made! Thank you for this blast from the past.

that pickle is made about 4 miles away from me (thats if its still there), i worked there when i was 21 & once a week you'd be making pickles and chutneys etc instead of jams (their strawberry jam is off the charts nice) i remember walking into production at like 5:45am and the smell of vinegar would hit you smack bang in the kisser and make you almost pass out. if you were hungover it was hard going. was some really nice people there and the owner was a decent chap too

Oooh I really wanna try that! They're similar to an Indian thing we have, called Jeera wara biscuits.
