It is hard to do when you automatically going to your bad habit during the match. Lmao. Need to do self reminder everytime and that sometimes could lead to slower response. Making a new habit to replace the bad one, is effort. Good luck guys (and myself also. Lmao)

Yes Good Luck. The more good practice you do the more likely and quickly it will be habit for your brain. 😀

Drilling with a coach is important to get that good practice. I not yet able to do that. Improving during a match is not recommended because of the score pressure not to mention if your partner doesnt like your poor play. Just saying.

I dont get what the flat and cross under pressure is trying to show. Is it correcting the positioning, footwork/stance, the return direction or the clear level? SOmeone explain please
@JacobsBadminton
@JacobsBadminton 2 жыл бұрын
You don’t want to lift flat and cross under pressure because you leave a gap that’s hard for you to cover if your opponent smashes.

@thehoch8798
@thehoch8798 2 жыл бұрын
Here is one I've found effective. Get a heavy racket, log, bat, rod whatever which is liftable but heavier than your usual racket, practice backhand swings. Do it in proper repeated sets, do daily. For clear shots try wall knocking in backhand.

Kimi what do you mean?

@kimipang2602 2 жыл бұрын
@@JacobsBadminton I mean that even though if you leave some space for your opponent to hit with, you still can retrieve the shuttle, just enought power to return back the shuttle over the net. But mostly it depend the height and where is the shuttle fly to the back of the opponents base line.
@JacobsBadminton
@JacobsBadminton 2 жыл бұрын
@@kimipang2602 Not 100% sure what you mean but sometimes off a deep lift you can get away with the wrong foot if you've somewhat read where it's going. We don't want to just be doing enough to get the shuttle back, we want to be playing good returns that don't give good players any opportunities.
