Thank you so much for giving us tips and tricks on how to go about creating our comics! I love how you show examples from your work but also don’t shy away from showing us the areas in which you had to go back and change a few things from the original draft. It’s so helpful and good to know that the first draft isn’t usually the finished product, and that it’s okay to make mistakes 😁

Thank you so much for watching! I'm happy you enjoyed the video. 😊 The process is definitely not easy, and usually a lot changes from the initial draft to the finished product. Over time, I have learned to organise myself better to minimise this, but there are still times when I need to change the artwork or the plot to better reflect the story I want to tell. Overall, it's natural to make mistakes, and it is part of the process of creating a manga!

Pretty amazing video as always though i do have a question about Pov for light novels in that what type should of pov should if my light novel follows a group of main characters in a isekai fantasy novel inhabe this question because im just not sure how to write it the closest anime or manga series ive gound that has what im going for is Fairy Tail in that while it does most have its focus on Natsu the series treat's the guild itself as the main character. Also is the a sort of template for write a light novel as so gar I've been going with a basic western book style but its not quite looking right. Is it too sneaky/confusing to submit multiple one shots that are linked with cohesive story that are distinctly separate from each other, but still titled the same across the board?

Hello I have a question about panel layout when it comes to making English comics/manga/graphic novel etc. I pretty much have only read Japanese manga , so I only know the right to left style of panel layouts. I am confused if I should replicate the right to left structure for my own comic, or stick with the left to right structure typically seen in English comics. I ask this because the aesthetic I’m going for/inspired by is much more like shonen anime/manga rather than something like a marvel or DC etc. Would choosing a right to left reading structure mesh more with my style or would it end up confusing readers since it would be in English. Sorry for the long confusing question lol.

I know this question was geared towards the creator of this channel, however maybe what I say can be a little helpful. 😅 I say to do what you’re comfortable with and if right to left is more your style, then go for it. If you’re concerned about whether it’ll confuse the reader, you can provide a guide in the beginning of your manga to let the reader know how it’s intended to be read. I have come across some mangas like that in the past and it’s really helpful. Good luck on your comic journey! I’m sure it’ll turn out fabulous ❤!
