Lydia, thank you so much for your content! I’ve been recovering mentally and emotionally from a traumatic c-section when my daughter was born prematurely. She spent 4 months in the hospital which included 4 surgeries and was left with a disability. Being thrust into such a difficult time did a number on my mental health. Thank you, I remember a few years ago when we were told not to wear your pants bunched out of your boots like you are showing at 15:29. Instead, we were told to wear skinny jeans inside knee boots. As with all things, fashion styles come and go, so wear what works for you. I agree with not wearing tight clothing on the top an bottom. I could see wearing an oversized blazer with a fitted top.

Fashion changes all the time, but neutral changes are easier to mentally accept for some of us elders than ones that might have had a negative connotation at one point in time. For example, I might need to see lots of people tucking looser pants into combat-esque boots for a few years before I stop associating it with neo-Nazism. But maybe that's just me.

I would love to see some tips on styling short skirts. I wear them a lot during winter season, always with tights (full cover tights). After watching your tips I think I will buy some midi or long skirt/dress, and definetly some knee (or over the knee) high boots. But still - I love mini skurts during winter season, so tips with them will be so helpful :):)

So glad to see you wearing the western boots. I know they are not as popular in the UK but here in the US, one cannot say their shoe collection is complete without a pair. My only comment is that a black pair of western boots can look better. I wear them with jeans and a white T, and top with a short denim jacket. Add chunky silver jewelry to add an authentic western look!

Hi Lydia, I would love it if you could do a similar video about what boots/shoes to wear with full leg/longer legged jeans like vintage 501. I just bought a pair and I love them but not really sure as how to style them with ankle boots as I don’t really like the look of full length jeans where the bottom of the jean hit the boot at the ankle or maybe I just have to get used to that silouette again, not sure. Also bootleg trousers, I used to wear them in the early 2000 with pointed heeled ankleboots but I would love you to show how to wear them with low shoes/boots, especially if you are not that tall. For soms reason they feel wrong with low boots but I am hoping you can provide some inspiration. Sneakers are just too cold for me to wear in winter so as a result I haven’t worn them yet 😅. I love the Air-Touch Foam Boots! I'm 5'2" and need a boot that meets the hemline of a midi for an unbroken look (with just a flash of skin!), but the back is shorter so they feel less heavy when you sit! But - so many options from 7or9!

Love the comfy low heeled boots. They are hard to find! I'm in my 60's and like style that is age appropriate and also location appropriate for Montana U.S. where I live. Not many dress up here. Most is casual mountain sportswear and ski wear here.

Im so surprised the second all white outfit wasn't a don't. I think, because the top is baggy and the skirt is as well, the outfit looks frumpy to me. And because the top was a different shade than the bottom, the color difference made the line between the two pieces noticeable, and your torso seemed to me, disproportionate. Maybe it's just me though. PS. I know the skinny jean/tall black boots outfit isn't modern, but you look so cute in it!
