I just got my first stamping kit this morning. I have been playing with it and had some beautiful successes! ....and some terrible failures lol. I was wondering why I had such inconsistent results, and watching this video showed me that I was putting too much pressure on the stamper when I was picking up the image. Thank you for these amazing videos!

Thank you!!!! I have an ice cube stamper plus several other brands of clear stampers and could never get them to work. I thought I was doomed to my marshmallow stampers and not being able to see where the stamp was going. I never heard to wash them with dishsoap. They all work perfectly now.

Needed this video! I have two ice cube stampers and have been struggling to get them to pick up. I have resorted to just using a marshmalloew one but it sucks because I cant see where im stamping
@nailsofinterest5 жыл бұрын
I've yet to get my ice cubes to work. With my round clear ones, (other companies), usually a lint roller does the trick. Now I know!💜💖💜 I guess its something in the manufacturing process. Glad to know it wasnt me! 😂 I've never even used a marshmallow before. Too hard to see.

Did you use a paper towel to dry the stamper after priming it?
@TwistedGlitter4 жыл бұрын
The up and down method works great for a stamper I have from a different brand but I find the Maniology one a bit too soft. I tried this method and the stamper head was left behind on the plate. For now, rolling seems to be the only thing that works for me with this particular stamper.

How often should I clean the design I’m working on with acetone. For example if I want one design for all 10 nails do I need to clean the plate in between?
@ariadnew60405 жыл бұрын
Yes, you have to clean it every single time
@diannafalsone68162 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen where they have used many colors to paint the image before applying. I’d there a video on how to do that successfully?
@Maniology2 жыл бұрын
Hi Dianna, great question! This technique is often referred to as "reverse stamping" where you fill in the stamp with other colors before transferring it to your nails. Check out our playlist here on YT on that technique.

I used olive oil on my fingers then tried to stamp a quick dry top coat to my nail. Now my stamp face is pitted. Did the oil do that? It's no longer clear
@Maniology2 жыл бұрын
Probably, you can try to wash it with soap to remove the oil :)
@hookedbycrafting53482 жыл бұрын
So I discovered my all time favorite top coat ate my stamper. Is it because it's a quick dry? Same brand name with clear polish doesn't harm it, just the quick dry

Where can you get the 100% acetone?
@Maniology2 жыл бұрын
You can buy 100% acetone in any drug store.
@susanpriem17392 жыл бұрын
What about the stamper falling out? Mine doesn’t stay in the holder.
@Maniology2 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan. All stampers are not glued into the holder for easy cleaning and adjustment. Please review the proper placement below to ensure that your stamper head is sitting at the proper location so it doesn't fall out or in when you are using it. There's like a baseline inside the stamper holder, and its where the jelly stamper should sitting at. Also, a quick rolling motion, just a flick of the wrist, is all you need to pick up the design from the plate. Pressing too hard or pressing and holding will tend to pop the stamper head out of place. Hope this helps! If you still have troubles with your stamper, please contact our customer care team at support@maniology.com so we can further assist you.

Ok I know this is old but she says not to roll the stamper for pick up.. then also says to roll the stamper one way later in the video... that's the method I like.. but I'm just saying that might be confusing for people just starting...
