It was filmed in the Austrian Alps last year when they were on an overseas tour..with a drone:) You have to check out "My Church"...the song that they gave a preview of at the end! Tim (the bass) has a 5 octave range...amazing! All are musically professionally trained in college except Tim (the bass), who was pre-dentistry:) Like Tim's voice...check out a song he did before home free "I Dare You"...for the USO show..at the end, you will be blown away! The high tenor parts are Austin... Adam is a straight tenor like Rob

This was done on their European tour a couple of years ago up in the Austrian Alps. A perfect backdrop for their wonderful blend of harmonies. They are the greatest in my opinion. You should check out their "Ring of Fire" done with Avi Kaplan of the Pentatonix, The bass, Tim Faust, sings the last part of the song and hits that awesome low note at the end. Bravo!

Loved your reaction. This song is so simply, but I think one of their best ever, and it does make you speechless, because it is so beautiful. Chance also does bass,but not as low as Tim. Thank you for doing this song. Oh, the high note you were hearing is Adam Rupp ( beatboxer ), he does very high notes as well as some low notes. He has a great range.

Do You Hear What I Hear? and O' Holy Night have very similar peaceful feeling to them imo. They also showcase Tim's range quite nicely. But, believe it or not, you still haven't heard Tim's lowest and highest notes yet. ;) I would recommend Little Red Riding Hood, Your Man (especially one of Home Free's live concert versions), Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Tim's Can't Help Falling In Love, The Land Of The Free, or one of Tim Foust Vocal Range videos if you want to experience more of his beautiful voice and amazing range. You might also enjoy their Sing-Off performances. And just FYI: You can hear his lowest recorded note in Home Free's cover of Sold and his highest recorded note in Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby. :)

I just rewatched your reaction. I agree that this was a very simple arrangement for the video, but their talent makes it so much more. The harmonies are incredible, Rob has such a smooth mellow voice, of course Tim is a beast and Austin's high notes are powerful. Adam Rupp was singing instead of beat boxing and it worked, plus Adam Chance that replaced Chris Rupp fit so well with these guys. Less is more, only when you have the talent to pull it off and these guys are so talented. If you want Tim to tell you bedtime stories look up Story Time with Tim from the live shows. Now you have to find that location in Austria and include a picture in one of your reaction vids. Really enjoy you both. Can't wait for more Home Free reacts. Keep it up.

Yes, they have a common border but Germany is a pretty big country and if Luca and Vica happen to live in the North of Germany (for instance Hamburk), they would have to travel almost 900 km to get to the place where the video was shot.

I'm sorry, I can't let that go, 'magnificent' just does not cut it, magnificent is too lowly a term to describe that performance. Personally I'm not sure what term can encompass it to be honest, they have managed with 5 men, to achieve what a whole male voice choir would struggle to perform. I am utterly in awe of their ability. 5 people who sync together soooo exactly and perfectly is a rare feat.

Thou is for the German "Sie" as in when you say it to God. In most language you talk to God as a one-person with big capital. In English God and the king/queen have a own way to be adress: Thou. Or something like that. 😄

Wow... That was amazing. My first time listening to them sing this.. was absolutely amazing... If you like the song.. Carrie Underwood did a live version with Vince Gill, Also amazing.. was my favorite version... But I think I've changed my mind. WOW.. Thanks for the great video... lol, the 'ou' in thou is pronounced like the 'ou' in ouch. Don't feel bad, you even native speakers of English have trouble with middle English. Yes, what people usually call 'old English' is actually middle English,actual 'old English' does not sound ANYTHING like modern English, example Ealle fīras sind boren frēo ond geefenlican in ār ond riht.
