He gets freed from the HumanCentiPad IN south park at the end of the episode when Cartman gets hit by lightening, recovers in the hospital there for a few weeks, gets a large settlement from Apple when a lawyer says "you know that contract is invalid they can't actually do that just because you signed something"... uses the money from the settlement to open a Sushi restaurant in South Park instead of realising instantly what a messed up place it is and leaving.

I checked. Lu Kim was introduced in the 2002 episode, “Jared has Aides.” This one aired in 2011. A twist 9 years in the making Of course the Token twist took 25

Yeah, this is definitely one of my favorite episodes. Hilarious and well written satire with an insane twist that actually changes a lot. I’m excited for Woodland Critter Christmas next, you guys should also react to Lice Capades.

Lu Kim is one of my favorite characters. He has a hilarious episode in Season 6's episode "Child Abduction is Not Funny."

It's even a bigger plot twist than you guys thought because since the first seasons he was always "Chinese" and it wasn't revealed until this episode which is many seasons into the series.

That is great thing about South Park that is really underrated for people who never watched. It actually has some amazing stories from comedy, horror, drama and even some emotionally warm episodes. But if you only watch surface level episodes you would have no idea and think its just toilet humor.

This is a great episode, but the twist that Lu Kim isn't actually chinese has a lot more weight if you've seen the episodes that feature him prominently in previous seasons like "Child Abduction is Not Funny", "Wing" and "It's Christmas in Canada".

This one was really mind blowing for people who followed the show at the time. The City Wok owner, Lu Kim, was a character on the show for awhile before this episode. The end scene with Lu Kim talking about the fly was a spoof of the 1960 Hitchcock movie, "Psycho."

That ending with the Fly was from the horror movie Psycho. The Japanese Guy sounded almost like a real Japanese actor, but the Chinese Guy was just Trey Parker doing his Kim Jong-il voice from Team America, he was the Cartman of the episode. 😅

in the roman mythology God Janus is represented with two faces hinting at his duality. so using janus name for the doctor who has multiple personalities was a nice touch. sp sometimes feels goofy and over the top absurd but for certain topics creators attention to details and the research is spot on.

Two absolute must-watch South Park episodes are the Michael Jackson episode and the Jared from Subway episode. Absolute South Park classics. The Michael Jackson one is South Park at its best (save for all of Season 20, but Season 20 is more like a serial where you need to watch it from start to finish in order to understand what's going on)
