Chad, I was introduced to your channel when you and Case drove to pick up Leeske, the LGD, for Kevin and Rachel from Hidden Heights Farm. I cannot for the life of me understand WHY some people THINK they have the right to tell you what you should buy or question where you get your money to buy things. I mean, it is your business what and when you purchase anything. I don't feel like you owe us or anyone else (except each other maybe 😜) an explanation of your finances and how you manage them or how to raise your kids or if you are going to send an animal to freezer camp, or anything in particular about your household. That was cute how all the farm babies went to the same place right after you mentioned you would like to compare Ruby & Roxy size. Roxy is so tiny & those ears are adorable! For a podcast format, I like the name “DOSS CHAT” because it includes everyone under the Doss family umbrella (dad, mom, sons) and extends to the immediate family as guests, too. Grandpa, Grandma, Kyle, Shannon and Matt. All Doss’. It also suggests it’s people oriented whereas “Doss Farms” implies inclusion of the animals and land.

I Love how you run your farm as a community, in which everything from the smallest chicken right up to Tipsy size creatures come running for communal breakfast, move around each other, eat together, like to spend time together whilst still respecting each other; but I'm very aware that building and maintaining that openness to one another takes time, patience and understanding of each animals needs, preferences and quirks. I love how Cabela has become an outside loving dog, how Maggie and Goose play together, how the cows quietly gang up to take Bruce down a peg when he's getting too pushy and noisy I love how the land is rejuvenating under your persistent care, and know that it takes hours of brush hogging, of filling the armadillo holes, of moving big boulders I love how you know each of your boys strengths, and are gently challenging them to stretch their boundaries, to find their places in the whole panopoly of Doss Farms and all that encompasses - thank you, thank you - thank you both that you are willing and able to share all those things with me, without compromising your family's integrity, but with honesty, and the bedrock of faith which infuses your choices and actions. I respect your judgement on what is appropriate to show and to share as i would with any of my in-person friends, and hope that the other 98 thousand subscribers will accord you the same courtesy and grace.
