A great teacher and a great guy. I’ve had the privilege of learning from Scotty at Targhee and The Beav and he is fabulous. If you ever get a chance to ski with him, don’t miss it. You won’t find a better tele teacher.

Are you putting equal pressure on both skis? I can't seem to get enough pressure on my up hill ski to get it to do anything, any ideas?

Typically it depends on the steepness of the hill, but if you are are getting an uphill ski that isn't doing what you want it to you'll need to pressure more. A good drill is to get on a steep groomer, in a Telemark stance, and allow yourself to side slip down in your stance and practice over pressuring the uphill ski to get a better sense of the pressure. Then you can take it in motion and hopefully take that adjustment to when you are making turns. Hope that helps. - Madsen

Nice tips, never seen cowboy drill before! Those gusts really spoiled audio at the end, maybe putting some foam around microphone will help?

Different mic with different foam might help. Working on it.
