Tiivra helmets send me an ECC22.05 certification from some DELTA TESTING AND RESEARCH LABS which is located in Rajiv Nagar,Delhi claming their helmets are ece tested and certified... Is that right? Does ECE have labs like these in country testing helmets or is something not right here?

We don't have any event labs in India, it's Europe only! The lab mentioned is an independent lab which takes anything to test if you pay then ang give them a specimen to test :)

@MotoZoomer But then, how does it give ECE certification? Helmets like MT and LS2 have ECE22.06 certified on their lids in india. Do they, too, get their helmets tested in such local labs in india or from europe? Kindly eleborate as this is a thing of concern.

Yes, all their lids, including smk and all has to be tested in Europe. You can find the Details of the lab on the chin strap.. E1,E2,E3 and so onn.. E denotes Europe and numbers denote the facility they're tested in

@MotoZoomer i have never used an indian brand,i have AGV k5, Hjc cl17(snell rated which at that time i thought was safe), recently bought Hjc Rpha71(22.06) and AgvK1s(22.06) should be delivered in a week... i dont have a yputube channel but i always encourage my friends and others to buy nothing less then 22.06 helmet in 2024... This brand Tiivra felt like a scam from day one. Amyway, thanks for replies and enlightening the community. I have picked a bone with riders connect too. 😁
