I don't know growing up I hung out with people who listen to same kinda music and was into same kinda stuff I married a Puerto Rican and my best friend is a Hindu I've always had many different ethnic groups as friends we all where attracted to each other's interest

It doesn't seem to explain how they grouped themselves. Was it by looking at two other people and indicating silently whether those two others had the same color stickers? And then letting someone else indicate silently to you whether you were the same as someone else?
