What I really like about Purge is that he openly admits his mistakes and explains on them. Most other people who make mistakes are like "Oh yeah I messed up there haha MOVING ON". That doesn't teach people anything if you make common mistakes and you just glance over them for the sake of pride. I have 1100 hrs in Dota and I still watch every Purge video. Keep going on Purge.

I think purge should have mention this; When you're jungling as enigma, pull the creeps out of their camp before you make edolons. This way, they get free hits in as the neutrals walk back, your edolons won't be clumped, and they won't be in melee range. It also gives you time to spread them out, in the case you want to avoid a clap from the hellbear camp. Just a little thing, but it does help a lot.

Purge, don't lose your "noob cast" chops. You're so good at it. Breaking down the information into digestible bits is, I would say, your best quality -- aside from being a positive influence in the community. There is so much information to gather about each hero, that there is literally no way to communicate it in one game -- and even less chance of learning as much about the mechanics about the hero while playing it.

I've seen a lot of people pause right before they die and now I understand why. I was often in the position where I'd get the gold needed for an item the very second I die ... several times / game. Then again, you do have a limit to your pauses so it can't be abused.

Purge, that was great replay commentary. I´ve been watching all your videos lately and I find these more serious and overall better than subs games where you´re just doing stupid things and seem like a boss who can beat all. The one level that pro players put into Midnight Pulse is actually for jungling. You can destroy the trees between the Large and Medium camps and increase your farm rate (and often give yourself more room to get out of camp blocking range after you kill the camp).

@AnJello the eidolons spell has a cap on the level of creeps you can convert. Depending on where in the match you saw this, it was either because his eidolons spell was too low a level or it was maxed and he couldn't do it anyway because the creep was too high a level.

Well, I'm not sure but I think Purge isn't allowed to copy the KDL stream to his own KZbin channel, and I don't think he'd want to commentate on the games either so he doesn't give up tactical information to the opponents in future matches. What a game! Also I gotta say, I love watching pro players fail blackholes. Happened so much in TI4 as well. I love playing Enigma and I have a really high win rate but the pressure of blackholing is so much in pubs it's just ridiculous. If not anything else your teammates just randomly blame you by saying "enigma no good bh all game gg". Not to mention Enigma pick means a guaranteed Rubick counterpick in every single game. Blackhole is potentially the most game changing skill in the game but Enigma's power does not come from BH.

Thoughts on midnight pulse during the lane-ing portion of the game? I've seen Zai use the ability to farm quick in the Dire jungle, but is it way less effective when you're on the radiant side?

@HarisMulic observer wards are more valuable in that they grant vision and they are limited in the amount that you can buy. Most people prefer to use obs for more important things than to block camps. Also, some Bock spots don't offer very good vision

I have to disagree with getting buckler first as the majority of the time i find that the regen in lane is much more useful. Like you said at 1700 a full HP bar is more survivability than an armour item.

I love playing enigma, but I tend to always save my black hole way too much for that perfect 5man black hole. Probably should listen to purge and just try to use it every time it's off cd.

Valve should implement a feature that stops you using the shop for 5 seconds after you (not anyone else) pauses the game to prevent that crap.

Why did you skip Blink Dagger? Only lion could stun and I saw some situations where you could have blinked in and take all the heroes there. (Like at the end where 4 of them pushed top lane they were grouped together.) You were kind of 6 slotted but selling Soul Ring wouldn't have meant any problems and you would have enough gold for it as well.

Mek first has been standard since forever. Blink first is putting everything on your black hole, which isn't really that hard to hit early game, because you're not in a position for it to land multiple person black holes.

Blink also doesn't do much against a radiance Spectre, because every fight is gonna be begin with a haunt.

Actually the real reason is because purge was the only support and had to play a pos 5 rather than being greedy and playing his hero to its full potential
