Quinn will easily be the most loved talent of all time if he ever retired and transitioned into one. He's quick witted, clever, and that sideways bear meme reenactment was spot on.

I'm so glad we managed to get legendary G2.iG Manager Jack Chen also known as Korean BBQ on this ep. He's insanely well-spoken. (Thanks Sunsfan for helping me memorize that full title.)

I was at ESL One Birmingham and one thing I noticed that I feel needs to be praised is the willingness for pro players like Ari, Quinn, Insania and Nisha (pretty sure there were some others) as well as talent and casters to go out into the arena to meet fans, chat and interact. I saw Quinn, Nisha, Ari and Insania on different days go out and meet fans which was really nice. I know a lot of other teams didn't have players that did that, but seeing Ari go out and chat with the fans after OG's loss was admirable.

Can't believe we were graced by the presence of G2.Ig legendary manager Jack Chen also known as KBBQ. Also Sunsfan really hypnotized us to memorize this 😂.

expect nothing less from a team captained by torontotokyo.
@KevinHellfeier6 ай бұрын
what you didnt mention was the trash talk before the grand finals on stage, toronto said something like "i hope their mid laner doesnt cry like a little bitch again after they lose" to which malr1ne replied with the bkbtphome line which skiter then blatantly stole ingame. what i found most fascinating though was the fact (at least as far as i remember), that there wasnt a single tip for the first 30 min of game one, only after betboom kinda threw it away but also falcons played the comeback pretty perfectly all all-chat hell broke loose
@sidders19436 ай бұрын
The points thing with OG is a bit of a bitch because they have an irritating tendency to go from total garbage to playing out of their minds and back in short amounts of time. So they tend to screw up either the tournament or the qualifiers. Thus OG as a team tend to benefit more from free invites in my opinion.
@boyhellboy226 ай бұрын
annoying thing is both og and tundra out perfromed liquid and GG at the event, both will likely not be considered for direct quailfcation, at which point do direct invites change around and one of the strongest reagions have to fight it out to show they're stronger than directly invited teams from other reagions.
@drlupp6 ай бұрын
To be fair, Skitter's BKB TP home was what was said during the trash talk pre match when Slacks were asking them to do so. TorontoTokyo's trash talk was something like "Don't look down when we win and we are in the same elevator." Skitter just reiterated what was said, and Toronto took it personally.
@o.e.75696 ай бұрын
Adding some possible context to skiter's all chat, there's an ongoing meme from weeks or even months back in Gorgc's stream of 'TheNightfall' = 7tv emote of Nightfall morph's just BKB and TP. Ammar and Skitter have been co-casting in his stream several times and definitely pick up on the meme. A similar scenario would be all typing "can throne" to Gaimin Gladiator to meme 'TheQuinn'.

I want to mention something about all chat. Just think about it, you have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to make a tournament better. Maybe to create a better stage or higher quality content. For what all chat is it's like a magic wand. It literally costs nothing and makes matches suddenly 2 or 3 times more interesting. When I think about it I think of human nature. I think when you have some emotional attachment to something you are going to enjoy or of course hate it way more than usual. As viewers it's hard for us to experience how those pro players feel whether its stress, pressure or excitement. Both all chat and tipping are one of few ways that opens a gate to those players feelings. Let's say Falcons against OG game 2 when OG made a comback and Ceb started to say "I can't read you guys lag?" Suddenly we all could feel emotionally how he was feeling as well. We all could feel how joyful he was when they made that unlikely comeback. I also have to mention I don't think there is any need for regulation. I think community will regulate itself on these stuff. When the line is crossed or it's no longer fun because it's been used too much people themselves are going to tone it down because it's no effective anymore or there has been a Reddit uproar or something. For thousands of years people have gotten along with each other so when the time comes people are going to regulate themselves.

Once you accept "oh i didnt read the message so I cant get punished for it" it opens up ignoring these things completly because you can always claim not having read it. If you join a big ternament its your obligation to make sure you know the rules under which you compete and what constitutes a rule violation. period. .

In corporates when dealing with different cultures there is a rule that the way that they use English would be different from the way a native speaker speaks. So IMO TT should be given the benefit of doubt before being judged.

I'd wanna be fair with Torontotokyo and give him the benefit of doubt with the language barrier in that I don't believe it to be a threat of physical violence, but it's still slipping down that slope in a bit of a cringe way. I think Quinn hit the nail on the head, it one wasn't funny and he's just showing how triggered he is
