How to Grow Radial Roots of Adenium
The video shows 11 steps to grow radial roots of adenium. Adeniums look great for its thick caudex,vibrant flowers and spectacular root structure. The fat caudex gives desert rose a bonsai like look. The vibrant flowers add the most charming look to this bonsai plant. The radial roots add a new dimension to this bonsai tree. We can easily grow such kind of roots
following the steps shown in this video on adenium .
Step : 1. Clean the roots
Step : 2. Cut off the tap root.
Step : 3. Make a circular path for the radial roots to come out.
Step : 4. Trim the branches.
Step : 5. Wipe out adenium sap.
Step : 6. Apply fungicide.
Step : 7. Leave the plant hanging in shade for 7-10 days.
Step : 8. Repot the plant as shown in the video.
Step : 9. Apply root hormone to the circular path.
Step : 10. Cover the bottom of the plant with somthing solid.
Step : 11. Sprinkle water and leave the plant in shade until new shoots appear.
Finally an update after 9 days is shown.

Question: how long do you have to leave the plastic there?? until the plant is fully grown? I am a new adenium grower but unfortunately ran into root rot and had to cut off half of the caudex. I'm going to follow this step and hope it turns out well

I have some questions. 1. After cutting, keeping it under shade, does it mean somewhere where no light comes, dark place? Or just regular shade where partial light is absorved? 2. When is the best time for pruning? 3. What should be watering amount after planting newly shooted plant?

Good day😊 i just want to ask when to water after planting it i cut mine then air dry it for 7days then repot it using moist medium. So how to know if i need to water it again? It's hot here and the top medium dry faster.

Sprinkle water to keep the soil moist. Apply full water when you can see new buds.

Sir i have few questions 1. After making the cut and hanging for 7-10 days, can we use only Cinder as potting mix? 2. Did you wet the rooting harmone before applying it? 3. For how many days we have to hang the plant in Winters. I cut the tap root today on 17 Dec, 2021.

1. Use cinder based potting mix. 2.Wet or not both will work. 3. Cutting in winter is not recommended. Still you can hang it for 15 days to 30 depending your plants age and health. But don`t apply water.
