When I played this game I put in my actual name and Birdface came up. Always went with. Started with thinking Monstrous Bird was cool, especially on the Yorkist route against Mai, but then realised Boo-Koo could fuse with almost any bird for another Spirit of the Books, which made the deck very good at scaling. My brother always went with a Great Moth/Call of the Dead/Pumpking strat so scaling quicker than he could was an advantage. Watching your streams tho has made me realise how much easier the game can be if you actually move your leader forward haha

was pretty sure it was the injection fairy lilly starter deck, its hella consistent gets into 3000ATK range at low summoning power might give the patrician deck quite a fight, its equally as versatile gets a lot of wins across the game too

i used to as well then i realized it had to be a zombie over 1000atk but less than 1800 with a plant or vice versa.

Dont worry, you can then fusion wood remain with another plant for pumpking

True story, I enquired about dyeing my hair silver/white, but it would just require repeatedly bleaching my hair which would destroy it, so I won't be doing that. I could wear a wig or something but even then I'd have to like, dye my skin blue or something. Probably not happening unfortunately!

Why did you made him look so kawaii? I don't know much about this game other than what i've seen on the occasional speedrun event, this video and on my old FMR and DOR double feature strategy guide (i'm a Forbidden Memories still salty about the Pocketstation boomer.), seems like a pretty cool strategy game with expendable units like Advance Wars, Konami really experimented with some early Yugioh titles.

Also every monster in the game can be a zombie monster so zombies are the best monster type in the game by default. I love changing curse of dragon to a zombie so it always has field bonus no matter what lol.

Hi Clovis, Im playing the modded version of duelist of the roses you linked on your channel. Im not sure if its a bug but the game freezes whenever mirror force is triggered. If you know about this is there anyway to work around it otherwise MFL may be unbeatable For reference my deck leader is airknight parshath and it has trap protection resistance power if that effects it?

Legit played DotR when I was a stupid dumb dumb baby who quite literally had zero understanding of the mechanics because I refused to read and was still able to beat the game because by chance picked the zombie deck and though pure random fusing was able to fuse pumking. Do remember slowly over time learning some patterns to the fusions chains though.

@@DumbzoDenino Injection Fairy Lily is up there. it really depends on what you want out of a good deck, but that deck is very versatile, has lots of fire power, isnt too bricky, and is extremely flexible/compatible with other cards/drops

Oh wow, as someone who plays the game casually my go-to low turn clear was always to mega buff one of my units and rely on the opponent to basically kill their own monster by ramming them into mine with an attack difference greater than 4k. It wasn't a consistent strat though.

There is some complexity to it. Only a few AI in the game (Weevil, Rex, Richard, Tea, Tristan) will treat your facedowns as if they have 0 atk/def, so they will attack your facedowns if they have a card with 100 attack (they dont, but theoretically) whereas other AI generally wont attack your facedowns unless their monsters attack is 1200/1500 or higher depending on who they are. But you can attack an opponents monster immediately after they attack into your high def card. As long as both battles deal 2k+ damage to your opponent each, you should beat most opponents
