You are absolutely correct! That is a big error on my part and an honest mistake. For anyone reading, make sure to refer to the card acquisition spreadsheet in the description of the video as that should be accurate.

@@ClovissenpaiDotR There are many cards that doesn't appear in the list. Like 055 is left leg of the forbidden one that we can get from sangan and other cards with reincarnation. I also found a Mucus Yolk, card number 679 that is an immortal type card and it was a reincarnation of happy lover. (18 deck cost)

They are on the list, make sure you sort by the card number (the "A" column). Also it doesnt matter what specific card you reincarnate, just the deck cost of the card you reincarnat matters. You can only get cards given to you with a deck cost close to the card you reincarnate. Again The Stern Mystic is on that list, I just for whatever reason was convinced it wasn't available via reincarnation which is just my error - but the cards are there and the methods are accurate.@@Omnimon152

honestly, i'm glad Capsule Monster Coliseum made it so much easier to get everything, there's only one or two in that game that are absurdly obscure.

Not only the hidden card is hard to get in a normal gameplay, but the actual spots of the card are really tricky to get! I'm glad you have shown all of them and the maps, this could be helpful if someone is trying to get them!

Hey, I recently got the DOTR OST in my YT recommendation and started emulating the game. It was about a decade ago since I played it the first time on the PS2, after clearing the game again I searched for speedruns and stumbled in your channel, I'm surprised to see that there is still a community for this game. Hope to see you post more. I'm also looking forward to playing the Redux mod you guys worked on. I'm just waiting for my FMCB MMC to arrive because I want to access the save file where I poured TONS OF HOURS grinding, I'm excited to see my cards again. I think I have some of the rares you featured in you video. Thank you Clovis for reminding me how much I love this game with all this content you are pumping.

I love that you still make videos about this game. I still come back to re-watch some from time time to time. Here's a small list of suggestions for future videos (just trying to help since I know you already covered 99% of the game!) - Worst Starter Deck - How competitive PVP would function (hypothetical) - Card effects with glitches (are there any?) - Cards that should have different deck costs - I think you never talked about the in-game field builder. Which fields would you suggest, apart from the one for farming leader ranks?

Just binged through a lot of your content and it got me into playing the game again for the first time in years. I found the game has a set in retro-achievements; I think it'd be cool to see you chase after those if you haven't already. I've almost completed them all, but there's a few giving me grief because of rng (need exodia for one of them so reincarnating those parts and crossing fingers on the three-in-a-rows to be kind but no luck so far.) The idea of your redux mod sounds super cool, I can tell you put a lot of thought and work into it and I'm looking forward to playing it after I 100% the achievement set for the base game.

Amusingly, I have a Third Party memory card that Identifies as a Pocket Station so when I randomly had it in the slot and saw Deck Master I, I was so confused. I was expecting Deck Master T when I put it in.

It took me so long to get 100% of all possible cards. Mucus Yolk was the very last card I needed and it took me literal months of Reincarnating since his DC is so low you can only use cards like Baby Dragon to have a chance. It was so satisfying tho when I fully completed my Immortal Deck. I just wish there were more cards to unlock.

Great content! Ive been watching your speedruns lately, nice job! I am still fortunate enough to have my original PS2 copy of this game yet, ive been binging it and trying to unlock every card possible without passwords of any kind! Just using the slot rewards. And i have just gone through getting all of the "find" cards, but i still have some from reincarnation to get and some of the 3-in-a-row slot ones. My main 3 decks are Fiend/dark, Aqua/water, and Plant/rock/beast/earth.

From my experience so far jumping back into the game, the fact that DC is so low limits what you can put in a deck so much kills the fun of collecting cards to use in the campaign.

This is one of my all-time favourite games, but there are so many frustrating mechanics in it. Some of the cards being literally impossible to own is crazy annoying. I spent so many hours as a kid trying to get every card in the library, turns out I would never be able to achieve that goal

Someone mentioned this I think but a second memory card in the PS2 can make Deck Master I appear. I found this out as a kid on accident. It’s either 3rd party memory card PS1/PS2 / pocket station as mentioned or, having a copy of the same game save on another PS2 memory card. I’d have to do some testing to see which one works or if it was just a fluke. I never had a pocket station but was able to access the duel

Yeah I can believe its possible, but its odd conditions and I'm not quite sure how you couldnt guarantee replicating it. You'd effectively have to make the game believe it is reading a pocketstation for it to work

According to people on the gamefaqs website there are other Deck Masters for custom duels you can unlock if you have varying levels of save completions for Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories.

The cards you can only get with a gameshark code like Riryoku, i always wondered if that was always intended to be the case. Like did the developers plan on having them always be locked away or was there supposed to be a way to get them normally in the beta stage? It's just kind of weird to me, especially cause they function in a deck edit and a deck like normal. Heck, the rituals especially are weird cause they all have a unique deck cost and leader abilities if you max their rank with a code.

Hey Clovis, I have a question that you may or may not know. I am playing DOTR through my android phone and it works well through the emulator. The problem is that I was playing Damon Emulator and I can't figure out how to switch memory cards or plug the 2nd memory card in. So because of that I can't unlock the other deck masters. I already beat the game but would like to build my immortal deck again, and I'd be willing to play a different emulator. But the problem with the other apks are very sus and others just straight up will not work or requires me to find and download other stuff and jump all kinds of hoops just to get it to work. I figured I would ask you about this and what you would do or look up.

Yo clovis how are you man? I have a question unrelated to the video but for the game, in your mod you decided to give bakura a dragon/dark theme, why? Why not giv him fiend/zombie? Or many cards that are annoying? I just wanted to role play as bakura and create a deck which I can feel is his own "choice"

His text references a 'dark duel', however, Panik(Darkness-ruler) already has a fiend deck, Necromancer(Bonz) already has a zombie deck, Grandpa(Jasper Dice Tudor) already had a dark spellcaster deck (not much a deviation from vanilla because he had mostly dark spellcasters), and so I wanted to give Bakura dark dragons so that the player has a different duel rather than two duels of the same type of monsters as opponents. This also gives the player a good farming resource for dark dragons which contain some very popular monsters that many players may want, and also allows his deck to match the strength of being near the end of his campaign. Hope this answers the question for you!

Does custom duels level up your deck leaders? And does it cross over to career mode? I did custom duel while I had the enemy trapped and I leveled up some monsters to deck leaders, but when I got back in career mode they went back down to what I was at before. Usually the emulator bugs and reads a psx memory card to give you deck master I instead of deck master T. try that.
