i did 1 month of the one for begginers, and i am starting this one today. Day 1: ☑16th of january's 2023's. Day 2: ☑ Day 3: ☑ Day 4: ☑ Day 5: ☑ Day 6: ☑ Day 7: ☑ Day 8: ☑ Day 9: ☑ Day 10: ☑ Day 11: ☑ Day 12: ☑ Day 13: ☑ Day 14: ☑ Day 15: ☑ Day 16: ☑ Day 17: ☑ Day 18: ☑ 2nd of February of 2023 Day 19: ☑ Day 20: ☑ Day 21: ☑ Day 22: ☑ Day 23: ☑ Day 24: ☑ Day 25: ☑ Day 26: ☑ Day 27: ☑ Day 28: ☑ Day 29: ☑ Day 30: ☑ Day 31: ☑ Day 32: ☑ tomorrow i will do the other one :) 16/02/2023 Day 33: ☑ FORGOT IT Day 34: ☑ I started hissing for 30 seconds and modified farinelli breathing for 15 seconds Day 35: X rest day, even though I think I should've done the breathing one, my voice was way too tired and I had no energy. Day 36: ☑ almost didn't do it, but let's keep going! Day 37: ☑

I’ve always had shortness of breath despite getting regular exercise and singing for few months now. Just doing this I already feel like I’m dying. I think it’s the fact that I needed to hold in the breath. Plus I can’t seem to hold or breath out 10 seconds either. 😢 it seems too long. I want to learn support for singing but to feel like I’m dying discourages me from practicing breathing. What can I do? I wouldn’t say this is anxiety either. I’m very relaxed when doing this. I just have a hard time sustaining the breath.

I've been trying these excercises for a couple days but I still can't last the 20 seconds. I'm confused whether my stomach area should contract or push out as I'm exhaling as it feels wrong exhaling whilst im trying to push out. And sometimes I feel no engagement

I honestly have a problem not on this exercise but when im singing very fast songs or going high, I cannot support it and i go sharp no loss of breath. I have no idea why am i still like this. I wonder what exercise should I do... .. im really so confused

Hi Grace, it could any number of reasons and it's hard to say without seeing you. Generally, you've probably got too much tension somewhere. Keep you chin level with the ground, don't lift it or stick it out. Keep your vowels long and tall especially as you go past F#5. If you're mouth is too wide, you will go sharp. Work on head voice exercises softly. See the head voice playlist kzbin.info/www/bejne/el68Z2yQdsd2m5Y. The first 4 exercises Oo 3rds, Glow, Yum and Meow are the most effective. Do not increase you volume as you go higher for now. All the best Dot

Have a look at the this video and it's full description and comments: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kImxgGt4mpmEbLs This is part of the description about Suspending: "Suspend means to keep the ribcage in an expanded position, not allowing it to collapse. Basically it means staying in the inspiratory position for longer. During the suspension there should be no tension in the throat. The vocal folds are completely relaxed (meaning you could still breathe in and out). Don't hold your breath, by closing the throat i.e. as in bearing down to lift something, keep the throat open. The suspension causes the diaphragm to ascend slower than usual, creating a steady stream of air. This is the secret to singing long phrases."
