More than the fan cuz everytime I listen to the music from the past I know Jesus Christ has his hands within it before I get my praise to God and I will never forget continue to praise him for the tour that I did in Vietnam and how our own people act by the newsman for they had all everything on TV within the news and everything because they didn't know how a young brother at the age of 19 20 we have to stop being selective p what I mean by selective we can't be selected by color anymore people God knew what he had to do and what he desire to do so don't go around by the color of a person's skin because you may need that person one day God forbid where are all brothers and sisters

I am white. Over 40 years ago Motown became a part of my universe. Now I'm old and am blessed with these Gospel videos on KZbin that I love with every fiber of my being. I love so many of them but this one has been my favorite. In the midst of racial unrest I feel the need to testify and thank the African American community for so much magnificent splendor added to the fabric of our lives.

@@22coconut I was raised in a little Pentecostal Assembly of God Church. We moved away when I was a teenager. The Church is still in business but with another denomination. My old congregation couldn't generate enough funds to keep the lights on. In my old age I search for similar to my old choir days. The journey has been more rewarding than the mission. Beautiful worship and fellowship with song. God bless.

Virgil, I was raised Catholic but am now Assembly of God. Songs like this are rare and so are the hymns...much to my regret.
I'm glad that there is at least KZbin so I can connect with the glorious past. Check out When I Rose This Morning, by Mosie Burks and the Mississippi Mass Choir.

Your comment is a splendid reminder of those times in the early 80's when I was in Mt. Vernon Georgia at my great grandmother's farm, running around, climbing trees, raiding her watermelon and tomato garden, plucking peaches from the over hanging branches that started in a neighbors yard but extended to Mother's yard (we called her what my grandmother and her siblings called their mother). And on Sundays, a former front bedroom in her house served as a church ad many people came to hear the word, sing, and praise God in the old time way. I miss those times. She was born during the Great War, became a parent during the depression and World War 2, saw grandchildren born during the Civil Rights Movement, saw the end of Segregation and Black people return to Congress for tge 1st time since Reconstruction from her home state of Georgia, and saw neighborhoods, schools, and jobs that had been closed to her now open for her children and grandchildren. And all the while, she prayed us through it. RIP Grandma 🙌🏿

This performance is a praise and worship to himself. I could not understand the words nor the intent of the song when sung by the Rev. Frank. The lyrics were incomplete, the main parts that were supposed to be sung by the lead were sung by the choir. I did not know the words, nor could I understand it, but it was a slaughtered song. I believe the Lord gets no praise or worship from chopped-up, slashed, and catered songs like this. The Reverend was the only one who received praise and worship from this song. If you are going to worship God, then them that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Not a "Hollywood show" and a song meant for man. They were too busy showing off and trying to make people dance, rather than serve God. I am surprised at Dottie, that she agreed to something like this. I've met her before when she was with Jasper Williams, and she was so humble then. I do not know what happened now. What a waste!
