Dottz, glad you are covering eso again. When i started eso, in 2018(?), I watched ur 3+hr beginner guide about 4 or 5 times! Then, I bought the game. Hit the ground running, but still learning today in 2022. Thank you for your thorough, yet non-condescending content.

Any of you folks play a DoT Nightblade? Recently returned to the game and rolled up a Breton NB with the idea to play with a Shadowpriest vibe. Full light armor + Inferno staff front bar with DoTs + Damage. Back bar Resto Staff with off-healing/utility skills. I'm solid on skill/morph choices and playing DoT builds in MMOs overall, but not so sure on Mundus Stone + Magicka vs Spell Power choices + Armor sets. Looking at Seducer for Magicka management + it's pretty damage/healing agnostic. I'm sure there might be something better though. Please drop a line if you have any thoughts!

Just going through stonefall and the game is a lot better than i thought i would be. Maybe because i have not played Skyrim for a long time so the game has it's own feel and the good elder scrolls vibe so not negative anymore because the combat is different. So far this game is very enjoyable.

Just returned yesterday to eso my character had like over 260 points and 223 CP I had no idea what to do with it. So I just made it a crafter and started a new character but having fun. This video helps a lot though.

Thoughts on which race to run for Tank and Stam DPS Dragonknight on one character? Don't have the time to for more characters and want to stick with one.

regarding the races section, any race really can play and even excel at any role. sure if you're gonna min/max then some races will be better tanks/etc but the difference is so small and for beginners there's almost literally no difference at all, especially since the racial skills that make a perceptible difference won't be available for the first several dozen hours of gameplay

You also need to watch the guilds your joining alot of them you have to pay weekly gold to join and will remove you very quickly if your not active.

The only information here I disagree with is how important you say race choice is for role/class. In reality its only a 1-5% difference and unless new players are interested in min/maxing its not that important other than making a choice they will enjoy and have fun with.

Idiotically complicated game, mixing everything to the point that it is total ABSURD. They havent decided if it is a solo game or MMO so that stupid world scaling ruining all experience becaue you if you can go anywhere no matter your level, it is boring. No chill feeling, no fear of being killed, lost the basic RPG game sense. What is the sense of races or classes if you practically can make anything of every choice? As we know, the majority of people play this game as they would play any offline like Skyrim, etc. Developers are just idiots.
