I have fallen off the wagon a bit with birthdays and holidays. I did not stick to my budget like I should have - but we managed to not put any chages on our credit cards or touch our savings. Thank goodness for my tutoring side hustle that helped cover all the extra costs. We also were surprised our daughter had a credit for her tuition, so we are $650 ahead for next semester's tuition. Last payday we went back to strictly cash to get our bearrings and we are actually going to have a little extra to stuff this week. I have already started planning for sinking funds and savings challenges starting in February to get us back on track. Sorry for the long post - but my husband doesn't always appreciate my excitement about budgeting.😂

The 2 sister bee's playing cards are absolutely worth the money. I got them maybe a month ago and I've had a couple of weeks of using them. They are fantastic! saving a little money here and a little money there is the secret to meeting your financial goals!!!!!!!!!!!The biggest hurdle that i had when i started was....me believing that i shouldn't spend money when i need to save. The truth is having activities that cement in my brain that i can't spend all my money on whatever i want. Is what actually helped me to save! ( in the begining) I bought the budget mom savings challenges and from there i've done so many different things. Guess what i did? I paid my rent, electric, phone, and car insurance up for 6 months! How? Savings challenges... When you give every dollar a special home.. it adds up so fast! I have also bought 2sb's scratch offs and printed some of the freebees. ALL of their stuff is high quality! You won't be disappointed!. A big THANK YOU LADIES!!

I feel you pain with your car. End of 2023 my DH said I know you want to pay off my car, but in 10 days I need tires & alignment. I had a 😊 on face when I told him both could be achieved, but ouch close to $3,000 still hurts. Thank you Lord we had it.

It is! I was terrified, tbh. It was not pretty 🤣 I have had so many bad dental experiences that I am just over it at this point. But I knew I had to. I was out of options. I was so blessed to find this dentist. He’s a very straightforward guy- no unicorns and rainbows. That’s what I need. Like, these are your options. What do you want to do, Jenn? I felt so comfortable in that confidence of - it’s not about me, it’s about what you want to do. He KNOWS what he’s doing! 🤣 What a relief now that it’s over! 😅

Omg hearing the amount they charged for labor 😮. Here batteries are about 70$ then oil change, all filters changed and all that my hubby can do for about 80$ himself. I feel like they def overcharge people for convenience..😮😢

The labor charge had me 😳 I was not happy but it had to be done. My dad was a mechanic so he did everything, too. Jason just doesn’t have the time and since we travel, he doesn’t have the appropriate tools, either. We have to go this route and man, do they get ya! 😅

Yes- the dashboard is the paper that fits in the front of envelope. Different sizes- a6 is what I would say is the regular binder size. A5 is the larger journal size ( but a great size if you like a bit of room). Anyway- yes, Jesus is right! You gotta get the goods! 😅

Yes, of course! Brown 2 lbs ground beef or Turkey. Add handfuls of spinach and shredded carrots when that’s wilted, drain it all. Dump back in pot- add 2 cans of low sodium green beans, 2 cans of low sodium beans ( he likes pinto or kidney) 1 big can of sweet potatoes - rinsed off. Then I add 2 cups of cooked brown rice. Note: if he seems to be pooping a lot or having any stomach issues, I’ll switch to white rice for a bit. And then I bag it in quart sized zip bags. Freeze all but 1 in fridge and each day- I set one out to thaw from freezer. 1 batch lasts about 5 days. If I have extra time, sometimes I’ll chop up my own sweet potatoes and bake them. But that can get time consuming.

Why? Why do people pay for car parts that are easily replaced by you? Most auto places can test your battery to see if its low. Then change it. Usually a couple hundred bucks. Then if they said filters need replaced, if you buy them, you save way more money. Notice more than half of you bill is labor cost. Ugh. Thats crazy me.

I hear you 1000000% but my hubby works 70-80 hours a week/ 7 days a week. When he gets time off- that is not how he is spending it. I guess it depends on your situation. If someone has the tools, the time and the knowledge- sure. You would be correct.
