Cadet Pilot Bro maybe you don't know but I follow your videos since your start. Your points regarding financial planning was to the point. Rest were also to the point but please elaborate them. Like in case of genetic disorders Diabetes, Nausea, Semi Flat Foot aren't a big matter. Second I would request you to break the myth regarding the not so social life. The pilots enjoy their family time more then the 9-5 jobbers Risky and responsibilities: There are doctors who's jobs are in a higher chance of danger. But situation teaches people bro You have reached heights. I have seen you grow from 500 to 11.5k I am not going against you. I just believe you shall break the myths what others don't talk about

Thanks for talking about the facts regarding this career. These are the things we need to know bro. Also I would like to add a few things, there will be a steep learning curve and almost every student pilot goes through a learning plateau, so they shouldn’t get demotivated. Secondly, people think flying is all about glamour, but there’s lots to study and tackle written exams along with flying and tolerances are very rigid. Furthermore, some students just stop when they’re ready to solo due to fear. Thanks 🙏
@CadetPilot

Very True......I just gave very basic points to spread awareness bro...specifically for schooling and young students ....as its a huge investment field...students must take into account all these factors to makesure in which field they are entering into...as most of the time .their focus is only on hifi lifestyle , glamour and salary side only.....because its very easy to get influenced at this young age and in desperation of becoming pilot they blindly take admission without knowing behind the scenes and analysing their own capability....all they want is a pilot tag in their life...and ultimately their parents suffers....who worked day and night to pay their training fee....btw...Thanks man for your support......

Cadet Pilot anytime man:) I understand it depends on how people comprehend the information, because truth is hard to face... don’t worry bro you’re doing a great job and I’m happy to support:) because these facts are more important than the others which will come with the job like glamour, salaries etc, but we should be aware of both pros and cons:)

Please bear in mind that pursuing a pilot profession is not an easy task.Firstly it's highly costly profession as compared to other profession e.g. Medical, Engineering, Scientists, Lawyer,CAs etc. Secondly you have to maintain a sound health and on yearly basis DGCA Cat-I medical clearance. Thirdly you have to be always updated and regular flyer for which you need to do various trainings, type rating (in case of new aircraft type ) periodic checks ,Sim checks , updated CARs training etc. So all in all lifelong you have to study to keep recency and updated in the field of aviation. Fourthly, if for any reason you violate/ commit any mistake during flight operation, there is risk of License suspension/ seizure/revokation/termination(depending on severity of violation). Fifthly, in you migrate to other countries, for License conversion charges you have shed extra cost including flight training, medical clearance of that country 's Civil Aviation Authority. Sixthly, there is always life threatening risk to you, if unfortunately anything goes wrong during flight(though same may be due to any factors not necessarily attributable to you) leading to aircrash causing fatality or impairment.

Can u plzz tell me that which way is good for a successful airline pilot... 1. I join a private coaching institute and clear my all dgca exams nd then go to a flying school to complete 200 flying hours nd then take cpl 2- I directly join a flying school nd do all my studies and flying there simultaneously.
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
Technically second option is better as per my opinion...i.e flying as well as studying simultaneously....if you are doing your pilot training in India...as you are paying good amount of fee for ground classes..so why not attempt these exams after proper guidance ..BUT If you want to go abroad ...then first its highly recommended to clear DGCA exams ( Nav + Met + Reg ), RTR exam also if required ( depending upon which country you are going ) and also if you want you can obtain SPL + FRTOL....as after coming back you have to clear and obtain all these things within 6 months...otherwise to remain current with flying as per DGCA rules ( i.e previous 6 months requirements before applying for license issue ) and eligible for applying ....you need to do 15 hrs recency flying again..which requires again couple of lakhs...and most of the times things are delayed by DGCA ..so just a suggestion to save your time and money.. And you can clear all exams with self study bro...if you know what to learn..how to learn..so i would suggest you to first try from your side....then see if you are able to understand the concepts or not...and if you find it really difficult ...then can opt any coaching for proper guidance.....but doesn’t matter you do coaching or not....you have to compulsory do self study...ok bro..i hope you got my point.. And always choose the option in which you are comfortable....that’s important..than my opinion/suggestion ..ok bro...Thanks

There is no honners for an AMEs/Technicians in India even though you perform well(min pass perecentage in DGCA papers individually is 75%). After passing all eleven subject papers as per by DGCA and spending three/two precious years in AME schools, there is no gauantee for a decent job with any MROs/Airlines. Even, if luckily you get any job with any airlines, a minimum five years on field job experience is required before your employer Airline recommend you for type rating thus enabling and recommending your experience certificate to DGCA for issue of an AME licence by DGCA. So overall it will take not less than minimum eight years to obtain an AME license in India.Compared to that you only require minimum 18-20 months to obtain a CPL from DGCA on best effort basis. So doing AME in India is stupid & foolish decision as per me even though it is less costlier than doing CPL in India which cost around 50 Lacs rupees. Mind you, without any AME license issued by DGCA all your hard studies,efforts & money spent in AME course, is worthless and authorityless as no other employer will consider you worthy either. Further, no AME school will ever tell you a correct SOP, road map and hardship one has to face & minimum time required before issuance of an AME licence after entry in any AME course. Better do your own detailed investigations with concerned licensing departments in DGCA and evaluate thoroughly regarding AME or CPL course before arrival at any conclusions that what is best in your own interset.

Hello there, I'm panning to enroll in a Canadian flying school (Select Aviation) next year which is like a college that would give me a work permit after I finish their course. if I do 'exceptionally' good, they'd give a flight instructor rating for free and make you a FI in the same college (That's their claim but I've seen students of that college being a FI). I'm aware that the Canadian flying system is different from the Indian one (DGCA) and I'm also aware that I would require around 1500 hours to be eligible for an airline job there. I prefer this path so that I could get a good exposure and get my hands on tons of airplanes cause it's the journey that matters. Most of the pilots there prefer to be a FI or a bush plane pilot or a seaplane pilot or there are tons of other options to build flying hours which I think India hardly has. That's one of the other reasons I prefer Canada. So my questions are: 1) is it a good path? 2)Is it worth investing on ground school here in India before moving there so that I could have a good knowledge about aviation?
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
1) Its a good option if you are getting experience there.....but as it is aviation ....then to be safe..don’t believe in any verbal assurance of schools..ok bro...if they are providing instructor rating for free or whatever they are saying about extra things....then ask for written assurance for your safety ....because false promises are very very common in this field....at the time of admission...because all they want is money....at the end of the day its their business.... 2) I would suggest you to do self study first...don’t go blindly any coaching without trying from your side...i have already provided free books...you can download if you want...and try to learn from the basics.....if you are not able to understand or find it very difficult....then only opt for coaching as per my opinion ...as its a bit expensive...like 1.5-2 lakhs for all subjects....if money doesn’t matter to you then you can go coaching no problem....but anything you do..at last you have to do self study forsure......and it’s highly recommended to clear all DGCA exams before going abroad... So choose the option in which you are comfortable...that’s important...ok bro...Thanks

Cadet Pilot Well, I have nothing to do with DGCA, I'm planning to move to Canada and since it's a college, I'd get a diploma degree and on the basis of that, I'd apply for 3 years work permit and proceed with permanent residence. The ground schooling is just for the knowledge in order to perform well there. P.S. I'm also a computer engineer graduate

After selecting in airline. Does airline give type rating nd line training. Or we have to pay for it... average how much it cost ?
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
Right now all airlines want students to bear the cost of type and airline induction training....and it could be in the range of between 25-45 lakhs approx....depending upon the airline you join....and as far as i know ...spicejet charges the highest...approx 45-46 lakhs...( that is if you join after CPL ) ...so this is a huge amount of money....you can yourself check in their cadet program for cost breakdown of Type & Airline Training...same way different airline charges are very different....so you have to plan your finance accordingly....Thanks

Or we do Type rating by own.... so still we have to pay for line training
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
No bro..you don’t need to pay 85-90 lakhs....total cost from conventional path depends upon where you do your training...if you spent 35 lakhs on CPL and join Indigo then you pay 28-30 lakhs more...so total would be around 60-65 lakhs...but if you did your CPL from any expensive school like IGRUA then you will end up spending more than 70 lakhs forsure...or depending upon your Airline it may go up also....one of my friend spend 80-85 lakhs...from conventional path..he did CPL from IGRUA few yrs back when cost was no that high....and then he joined spicejet...after few yrs...so it depends.... Right now In any cadet program all training is included in single package ....i.e CPL + Type + Airline Training.....but I can’t guarantee about future rules and regulations..

Its not continuous....but totally depends upon their expansion plans and overall financial conditions...right now because of jet airways shutdown....mainly spicejet and indigo is in profit ..and will increase their fleet in upcoming years....as per news media..so they might hire good number of CPL or CPL + TR pilots....you just have to wait a bit after your CPL...and keep yourself current with studies...so all the best

Sir what is the minimum cost of joining any flying school in india??and how much time it take there to complete training if we have already cleared our all dgca exams?
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 4 жыл бұрын
In any decent school CPL with multiengine rating would cost you minimum...somewhere between 30-45 lakhs...depending upon which institute you join...and if you have cleared DGCA exams then ...your school might give concession in total fee..as per their policy...depends upon them...otherwise...you have to compulsory pay for it and sit in their ground classes also...and about time..it will definitely take 1.5-2 yrs minimum..if you do your flying faster...which again depends upon many things like aircraft to student ratio, availability of aircrafts and instructors, weather or any documentation delay..etc etc..

Its upto you....but there has to be somekind of financial support available either from your parents or anything...during waiting period for job...as CPL would cost you some amount of money every year...for IR renewal and other things....plus if you became medically unfit at any point in your flying career..then also you must have something to fall back..for your safety...specially if you are in loan or having family responsibility...ok

@@CadetPilot I m not talking about financial matter but degree or studies back up plans for any other jobs if we become medically unfit at any point of time
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
It totally depends upon you..whether you want to go after graduation or 12th....as you can’t use CPL or ATPL in any other job except flying...but a degree like engineering can be used to apply in multiple fields....at least you will have various options to apply.....even if you became medically unfit.....provided your are eligible..means age wise....as there are many departments in aviation itself which doesn’t require class 1 fitness ..toh aap dekhlo aapko kya karna hai...
@rohandominic3656
@rohandominic3656 5 жыл бұрын
I think it's rather better to have a degree before as it would help you to have a fallback and also many of the major airlines prefer pilots with a college degree these days due to increasing competition. Moreover, it kinda helps to ease you as it makes you feel safe which in turn would help you focus better
@CadetPilot
@CadetPilot 5 жыл бұрын
True...technically degree won’t help in pilot career....but as aviation has its own ups and downs...its better to have a backup ready ...well before stepping in...either financially or any good degree ( if you are interested )...so that you are eligible for decent jobs at least ( rest getting job is again a different task though )...but you can yourself see what happened to Jet Airways...specially their cadets...who invested 1 crore in hope of getting job and got nothing at the end...So uncertainty is always there...that’s why the best option is ....to see the reality first....analyse all pros and cons applicable to you...then choose the right option according to your situation and financial limits...don’t put any unnecessary burden on yourself or your parents ( as per my opinion )..which you can’t afford in future....rest you can do what you want ...your life...your money....Thanks
