Two Alstom Class 390 Pendolinos at Berkhamsted pass by at full speed, at full tilt, in opposite directions!
Except for the journey to Berkhamsted (where this was filmed) these were the first two Pendolinos I came across, and certainly not the last.
The first Pendolinos is Class 390002 (Class 390/0) 'Stephen Sutton', running from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston on Platform 2. Headcode was 7560.
The second train is Class 390020 (also Class 390/0), formerly the Virgin Cavalier. It ran from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly, Headcode 7085 on Platform 1.
