Love it! You build such confidence in your tutorials, Brianna! Your carefree "it's okay" attitude really helps with my over-thinking "perfectionist" tendencies which can make sewing stressful. So cool! Other “texture” fabric would be flannel PJs, chenille bathrobes, woven tablecloths from thrift stores. But my favorite part is the focus diamonds. Thanks!

when using muslin as your foundation, what batting would you choose? I would think the quilt would get very heavy - much like a 'jeans' quilt.

Do you decrease the stitch length? Also can I use a 6-7 inch strip and then sub cut to make my diamond?
