After watching a few of your vids, I did an impulse purchase of the large 60 degree ruler, at my local quilt shop. I am using it with one quilt now, and have 7 more planned. The ruler makes it an absolute breeze to cut. I am so happy I got it! Thank you for making my life simpler and my crafting more fun.

Can you make this quilt with the 4 1/2 in ruler? What width should the strips be. Thinking of only using 3 strips in each strip set.

Hello Krista ... I have a beautiful Jelly roll that would look amazing in this pattern but I love the 6 strip version detail you did . What advice can you share ? Friend above the boarder . Suzanne
@kristamoser4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, you could cut the strips down to size, but that is kind of a waste.... You could always save the scrap strips and sew them together for the Many Morsels scrap quilt free pattern!
@alaskaway90764 жыл бұрын
OMY Gooodness! You are brilliant! I absolutely LOVE your designs and how you make them doable for every learning style. I would NEVER attempt this on my own because angles and geometry just get all jumbled in my brain. Thank you! P.S. Could you show us the edging/binding or how you finished the edges? I noticed it was staggered like the stars. Is there options for straight in the pattern?
@kristamoser4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Lynn! I show this stuff cause I KNOW you guys can do it and it really is fun to put together :) I just did a video on binding inside angles. Here is the link to that video (and if the link doesn't work, it's just the last video posted right before this one).nAlso you can just cut the star points off straight and bind the quilt like normal! kzbin.info/www/bejne/poXSZapjeNV6q9U
@madelinesmemaw4 жыл бұрын
Curious, why did you not cut off the flat tips?
@kristamoser4 жыл бұрын
In this pattern I actually use those tips to matchup my pieces! If I had trimmed the tips off the star points I would also trim all the points off the triangle cuts (but it's just as easy to use the tips in this pattern).
