Another hot hitter from the original 8BS uploads, but now revamped, is the one and only Double Dragon! One of Technos Japan's most well known beat'em ups, a genre they would become very well versed with on the NES and Famicom, and while this port from its Arcade counterpart is very janky and unfair at times, its still a decent port that has left many memories and nostalgia for people with its graphics and gameplay! But of course, the main star is the soundtrack, with Kazunaka Yamane translating his own compositions he did for the Arcade version onto the NES, and with help from Michiya Hirasawa's sound driver, the soundtrack has become a classic and staple of NES music! :)

lol. This game was garbage. No simultaneous 2 player action. Not faithful to the arcade. All they did is steal the arcade name and slap it on this rushed piece of crap. I grew up in this era and when I got it when it was brand new and so much hype I was let down that it would not even let me play with my brother...except on that stupid vs. Mode. Part 2 was 1000 times better even though it was not faithful to the arcade either. Part 3 was ok. And was significantly better than the arcade.

@@topfranluis1 While I think the game is good, there’s no doubt that 2 is an all around better game, for all of the reasons tuxedo cat stated. No multiplayer, crappy VS mode, and felt more like a kunio-kun game with the different level designs that add platforming and whatnot. 2 basically fixes it all aside from a few more dumb platforming sections.

You're most welcome, its been enjoyable to re-do a lot of these OSTs, and of course try to have good length and loops for songs depending on the OST and tracks, but most get extended pretty well. And thank you I really enjoy seeing the appreciation for the background footage :)

You can find part of Great Fortress in the song Cold Cold Cold by Cage The Elephant (they must have played the game, or listened to the music, because it definitely inspired that track!), it was simply slowed down in tempo.
