in Tw you must have at least one land unit otherwise it would be unfair once flying units have no land unit they break so fast. one cheap unit would have done the trick

@@kungpochopedtuna they are immune to the debuffs I think if that's what you're asking, but I think the original comment is referring to Duncan being oblivious to the fact that the game heavily penalises an all-flying army, and unless you have at least 1 ground unit, they will inevitably run from the battlefield. (not sure if that penalty is difficulty dependant but it's a good idea to avoid it either way)

A lot of their enemies cause terror they were outnumbered and the game doesnt like it when you do all flying monsters monsters have poor leadership as is combined with everything else they basically just show up and fly away and really you shouldnt be taking duncan at his word because he didnt know much at all at this point and he was just guessing lord oppai was in the right track

WH1 is good but the base game loses a lot of content to DLC. If you're looking at buying it I would recommend adding the cost of that DLC when considering.

Glad they didn't have such a problem with WH2.I've been watching for WH1 to drop in price, I bought Attila and all its DLC for 30$ on a really good sale a while back. Hopefully there is a nice Christmas sale for Warhammer.

This was a joy to watch. In 1980 I flew on Europe Aero Services, a V952, F-BVUY, and most of the AC cabin was still intact, including the bulkhead decorations and the laminated maple leaf designs in the washroom doors. I must say the Vanguard was a rumbling giant - in cruise you could feel vibration waves traveling down that long fuselage. Still I am pleased to have had the experience.

Sooooooo let me get this right. CA decides to make units that are super super strong and make it so 1 card of them is only 1 of that unit. However they run away instantly because they are 1 guy against 500 even though that 1 guy could crush all of them. That makes 0 since.

It's down to morale, there's a penalty when your unit is flanked or rear charged as well as buffs when supported by another unit. Monsters are also incredibly vulnerable to spears and other anti-large units so there not as all powerful as they seem. You should have 1 or 2 to break enemy lines and create a hole for your army to exploit.
