Those are some really good spears by Cold Steel ,and I've been hoping to aquire one for a few years now but I can't get everything that I would like to own ,but they are very good quality spear heads just as most everything made by GMS & Cold Steel.

You could make the staff more oval in shape to help with edge alignment (It might also help prevent cutting yourself in the leg). It's the same with most cutting polearms like glaives.
