I don't get all the hate being thrown at Ms. Baccus. She's understandably upset, frustrated, angry, and having difficulty expressing herself without raising her voice due to *years* of being mistreated by a family she was told was her own. She offered to help the man, who isn't her biological father, to get his child support money back, and that speaks volumes to her character. I sincerely hope Ms. Baccus finds her biological father, and that her mother faces humiliation for her misdeeds.
@lysem4392 Жыл бұрын
I agree with the second half of your response, completely disagree with the first. I think her behavior is over the top, rude in the extreme, and at least partly an act. Was she raised by wolves? Also, Mr. Wooton's daughter pointed out that Ms. Baccus was nowhere to be seen during Mr.Wooton's' illness, for which Ms. Baccus offerered no good reason. It was hard not to notice also how Ms. Baccus calmed right down after the results were announced; she didn't seem all that upset she wasn't a Wootton after all. I'm glad she claimed she wanted Mr. Wooton to be reimbursed, but it leaves me wondering: was this all about the money to start with?

@@lysem4392 Have you ever been traumatized? I mean to the point where someone's very voice sets you off because of what they did to you? I see that as the reason for her responses, and finding out she's not part of that family as being a combination relief and yet another slap in the face from her mother. I know whenever I've faced some difficult news, I tend to get clinical and quiet, even when I'm so furious I'm half a step away from breaking something. I'd much rather attribute her reactions to the trauma she faced from both her mother and being denied for years by the Wootens than any form of malice or greed. Seriously, Ms. Baccus wasn't going to get any money for herself from the Wootens, so why would you go to greed as her motivator?
