Great work! I struggle so much with quick sketches… like i have in my head what needs to be done: blocking, checking angles, perspective, carving shapes… but my hands are not up for the challenge sometimes hahahaha

Its just all about drawing mileage. Repeating the same subject over and over again. Thats why you see these amazing artists who draws really fast because they've probably done it a thousand times.

I love the references that you picked so much- they’re so cute in these poses! Also- I love your sketching, it looks so expressive, they don’t look stiff AT ALL! This video is such an inspiration for me to wanna get back into drawing everyday

How do you go about perspective and proportion when doing these quick drawings? (quick for you, would take me hours to even get close to the same result).
@SugaKookieMon3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps, you should try 2 min poses. That way you can only focus on the gesture.

Anyone know how she looks at her reference photos? I find it annoying to be drawing looking down at my desk and having to constantly look up at my monitor
@ChrisHongArt2 жыл бұрын
Hey! That's actually exactly what I do 😅 which is to look up at the monitor. It is annoying but it's really the only way i've done it all this time so I guess I'm used to it haha
@Sari36YT2 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisHongArt Thanks for the reply! Can I ask, do you get neck strain and the accompanying sorehead from looking down at your desk? Any tips to avoid it?
