Whenever I'm stuck on shading and details I step back and reference Arcane. There's so many different shapes and sizes in their character designs and it's a really beautiful style!

Yknow I really am liking this new Ross era, it feels very genuine, passionate, and heartfelt, something that was present in earlier ross but started to fade out as he got closer to his burn out hiatus and had some more clickbaity and repetitive aspects, which is understandable, leaning on the repetition of things you know work makes sense if your mental just isnt in it, but now with these past few videos, it feels more original, it feels authentic, no clickbait, no reliance on repetition, just a clear communication of his love for the craft that has always been there

The reason I love Arcane's aesthetic so much is because it looks like concept art in motion. I'd always see concept art for Marvel movies and such, and think how much sleeker and fantastical the art looks compared to the final product. Like I know everyone doesn't like Cap's suit in Avengers 1, but the concept art for that makes that suit look top tier.

I also did this,my style is extremly stilised so using arcanes style,proportions and colors was really cool,it helped a lot to make my chracters way more expresive,tge arcane characters have so much emotion even in there more neutral expression

Really good study of Arcane's style and I like how he broke it down into each individual feature that Fortishe draws differently, but I feel that he kind of made Arcane's style of drawing faces too narrow by ONLY studying Jinx's proportions and using only her as a reference, when one of the best parts of Arcane's style is the variety they have in terms of their male and female character's faces and facial proportions, and how they're stylized from people you could imagine seeing in real life. It would've been interesting to see him referencing Caitlyn's face or Vi's face, or hell even Mel and Sevika's faces since the best part of Arcane is its variety in character designs while still conforming to the same art style that makes their work so recognizable.

it was made in 3d program called maya with mix of 2d effect keyframing aftereffect video editing but the models are amazing and perfectly rigged in 3d still the impacts and fight scenes sells a lot with combination of 2d and if you add amazing story to it they made a leap and achieved best show ever with a team combined to all do their part to make things happen alive basicaly art form combined in one made to life no need for mocap or ultra realistic renders thats all you need thats why its best also big shoutout to animators as well , what riot did you feel the time and passion from every ascpect of art and industry at the end it would be a pleasure to work overtime on that project sadly today we will witness the end of the show and i will feel empty again they truly stole my hearth and soul
