#mecraftyscrapper ‪@MelinaPylant‬ I love making these pockets. They look like they'd be difficult to make but they come together easily! All measurements, cuts and scores are listed in the video. These are not my original design. You can find these in multiple YT videos. I just love sharing with all of you what I’m currently working on!

Another great journal project Melina! I’ve never seen the double flap coin envelope before and it’s so cute! I don’t have a tool to set brads so I use the decorative brads and cover the 2 little metal legs with a piece of scrap paper. It works great and there are some adorable decorative brads available! TFS this project!! Blessings! Tina 🥰😊

It is the middle of the night, well technically it is in the early hours of March 21 and I decided that this is my very first, since making cootie catchers with my boys around 40 years ago, paper project. I'm quite proud of the fact that my extensions all turned out correctly and they lined up neatly. I'm so proud that I was anle to follow Malina's instructions though I sure had to pause her often. Thank you Malina and I now have scraps! 🤣

Hello Melina dear. I’m very far behind. I began watching the master boards series at the hospital while waiting on hubby. He got very tummy sick even with zofran they were unable to start on time then scrapped it. And our grand fur baby was put down yesterday and I’ve just not been able to concentrate. Now I really need some of these so the master boards will need to wait. I send 7 happy mails overseas and 1 to Jerusalem . My dear dear friend Ekaterina lives a 5 minute bus ride from the city of wait for it!! Bethlehem!!! she sends the most sweetest happy mails. And she is a wonderful water color artist. So I have mini watercolor-paintings of Bethlehem, Jerusalem gardens oh my goodness!! So I’m in need of some delightful easy makes I can mass make to send. What ?? You .. not a favor of pink ? Melina, there is no other color!! Except of course yellow Roses of Texas !! Now I’d have to attempt that some time. Ok no more chatting watching on tv so I can follow along 💕🍃🍃

Hi Melinda, Just thought I would mention, I was the original creator that came up with measurements and project idea for my Expandable Pocket Pouches, I found a lot of Junk Journal crafters were using my measurements to create these pockets. I, even came across a Junk Journal crafter that used my exact same project and measurements and claimed it was her idea. I know these are my measurements because I used to sell the kits in my shop and had done a tutorial on this project. Nevertheless, not much I can do about it, however your pockets do look lovely. 🌷 Sandy

Oh no! I watched quite a few videos on these but never saw yours. I’ll have to go search for it now. Bless you. I’m so sorry someone tried to steal your original design. When I posted, I put in the description that this was not my original design and that there were many YT videos about them. So, I didn’t give any singular credit. Sadly, after we do a tutorial on YT, we open it up for others to be rotten and claim something as their own. That will eventually come back to bite them so we just have to sit back and wait. 😟 Thankfully I have found those to be few and far between. I try my best to give credit to the original creator if at all possible each and every time I make something I’ve seen on YT and not my original thought. It’s just the right thing to do. Love and hugs Sandy! I’ll now go find your original video and watch! 😘

Thanks so much for giving a detailed tutorial on using the large eyelets and Cropodile. I learned so much! I never knew there was a way to tell the base from the top. I will spend some close-up time with my Cropodile in the morning light. :) Cute pockets too. I'm also not a fan of pink unless it's inin shades of red and pink on a rose or flower .

Melina, do you remember the source of the pink rose paper? It's really pretty. I love this pocket, it's really cute. When I use the expanders, I like the mountain fold and edges facing inside. It give you two wider useable slots to fit stuff into that way, instead of the other way around. Either way works of course!

If you were going to glue it into a journal then you’d have to make a front closure only. These are made to use as inserts into your journals. To take in and out.

Melina, at clip time of 47:32 I can see the underside of your glue lid. I see it has some bracing under the cap which looks like it would be a better seal on the top of the bottle. It also looks like it may be tight enough to prevent needing a pin. The caps I got (from your shop I believe) are hollow. Is there a change in the ones in the shop? I would prefer I believe one like you are using.

These are so cute. I've been watching a lot of your videos lately. You're making a lot of cute stuff and we have the same taste. Just an FYI - All score boards are different. the 1" mark on mine is to my right so everything you say is just the opposite. Like when you said the side you want as your top would be to your right maybe you could say would be at your 12" side. I'm only pointing this out because sometimes its confusing. I hope I don't offend you in any way.
@stacye3184

I have a scor pal board that is marked every 1/8". It would drive me absolutely nuts to use the version she has. Lol. I don't see any reason to find this offensive because it's true...score boards are not universally marked.
