Double Opening Peek-a-Boo Card

Perfect for Father’s Day or other occasion. Learn how to make this amazing and unusual card with step by step instructions.
Card Front:
• Balmy Blue card base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/2"
• Soft Suede layer is 4 x 5-1/4"
• Very Vanilla CS: cut 5 x 7-1/2. Score at 3-3/4"
• Die cut circle that is 2-1/8" from Layering Circle Dies; (Make a few tick marks around the circle onto the inside for placement of man in lawn chair stamp.
• Emboss front with the Bark Embossing Folder.
• Stamp the large shell in Crumb Cake
o emboss with Seashells 3D Embossing Folder
o die cut with Seaside Seashells Die & snip out
o cover with Wink-of-Stella clear
o add to card front with Dimensionals
• Stamp seaweed in Mossy Meadow, die cut & glue down
• Stamp starfish in Crumb Cake, die cut & glue down
• Die Cut a Crumb label of your choice - mine is from Tasteful Label Dies.
Very Vanilla Inside (first opening):
• mask your scored line with Post-It notes
• Stamp man in chair in Memento Ink on right flap so he will be seen through the Hole.
• Stamp man in chair on a Post-It note then fussy cut him out. Cut around his legs so you can get colouring under chair
• Using Blending Brushes, sponge Balmy Blue at the top and Crumb Cake for the bottom half.
• Stamp "sand" speckles at bottom in Crumb Cake
• Colour man with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers (Dark Balmy Blue for hat and shorts, dark Daffodil Delight for shirt, Light Granny Apple Green for chair, and Light Petal Pink for skin)
• Add a couple more shells at the bottom.
You can now adhere your Very Vanilla folded card to the piece of Soft Suede and then add that to the Balmy Blue card base. Stamp your message inside and add a couple more shells to the bottom either die cut or stamped directly.
