"You know what? You need to stop taking everything so personal".. Funny Kayla said that yet she was the one that always took it personal. I understand her anger towards Olivia for abandoning her but from a business perspective she should have listened to her. Olivia knew what she was talking about. This movie will forever be one of my classic favorite movies.

Kayla should of been mad at her father. Instead of her mom cuz her dad was the one who drove her mom away & didn’t support her for wanting to be a singer. That’s what lead to her mom leaving & when she left, she kept Kayla from seeing her. So for me it was actually the dads fault.
@readyroc7845 Жыл бұрын
@@crazyasianman07I completely agree, but her mom could’ve contacted her a lot sooner, which is why Kayla felt she was too complacent in her game and career. As bratty and insensitive Kayla is I have to remember she’s a teenager taking all of this in
@ChicagoTyme212 жыл бұрын
Every time I see these scenes with Kayla's attitude with Olivia, I laugh when I think about what Brandy once said. She said always apologized to Diana if she brought the character's attitude a bit rough with her lol, instead of realizing they were just acting. It just shows how much love and respect Brandy truly has for Diana and how she was one of her main idols that she looked up to.

A mother's intuition never fails you should always listen to your mother and I know sometimes it's hard to admit when they're right but you know when a mother is right she's right but she would never tell you I told you so the only mother was say that to you it's the ones that don't give a fuk about you they just want to see you and misery and then never want to see you happy those are the kind of mothers I don't like when you got a good mother that tells you something is not right here she cares about you listen to her

@HisWorshiper14 Yeah, I didn't like how she talked to Diana either. And she didn't even know what she was talking about half the time. Talking about how she had to trust the label because they knew what they were doing and yet Diana had how many years of experience in New York???? Dumb man. Smh teenagers. Think they're smarter than people who've already been down the road they're traveling. I'm glad I never acted like this even though my teenage years will be over in a month lol

Have any of you noticed Diana goes up on her lines ( she spaces out) and the scene goes to a temporary halt. She did it on her scene with Brandi in the final argument. Bad technique. Called ‘going in and out motivation and the event’. Diana could be a great actress but needs some training.
@Syld01036 жыл бұрын
Personally, I think Brandy is a little corny to have played this role alongside someone as amazing as Diana Ross. They definitely could have found a more graceful and attractive young star, uggh!
