I think that's why Diana loved the story so much. Because her character is kept from her daughter because she became a star, and the husband's excuse was she would have been a "now you see her and now you don't mother" when in real life you can do and have it all, and Diana is living proof of that. Tracee and Evan said there was not ever a time growing up that Diana never knew what was going on lol. So she stayed on her kids' butts.

Brandy is so lucky to have been apart of such a GREAT time for music, especially R&B music!! And she got to work with and be around music legends and eventually became a bigger deal in music than what she probably ever imagined!!

Diana Ross is spectacular. She invented the hair blowing in the wind while on stage look and it worked for her because she is wonderful. Her voice is mesmerizing.

After watching these performances by Diana Ross, I can understand why my father once said she had a voice as smoothe and soft of silk! But I also feel she was under premoted to black audiences! She's like the black Marilyn Monroe of songstress! We love you Diana! Also I think she was a pretty good actress as well! I just can't help but wonder why she was not promoted better!Offered better part's! Knowing what I now know I feel she'd have done better with the " The Bodyguard"! Don't get me wrong... I loved&love Whitney Houston, but sometimes you must look at thing's from a performer's peer's (people that would truly accept them due to they're all & all )! Tell you something else, she still has that umph and she look's goood! Lady sing's the blues,Mahogany... she had something, still !! I am VELVET Angel and I approve this testimony!!♡♡♡☆

From 6:10 onwards I've read somewhere that it's actually Diana Ross's apartment. I thought that her apartment was in Central Park but the views from her house as I've seen them in this video do not correspond to the ones that I have seen from that building. Is that Emery Roth's Beresford apartment?

Damn Michael Jackson was right about His mother in the song "Wanna Be Starting Something". In the lyrics He says about Diane Ross "Billie Jean is always talking when nobody else is talking. Telling lies and rubbing shoulders, so they called Her mouth a motor". This movie Double Platinum is a true story about Diane Ross's abandonment of Her first child Michael Jackson so that She and Smokey Robinson (the Father) can become a star.
