That moment when Diana admits she still would have gone and she says “it meant my life” still feels authentic. I was watching her in Out of Darkness the other day playing a schizophrenic and she was amazing. It’s regrettable she didn’t have more opportunities to display this talent.

It's 2024 and this part of the movie hit different from when I watched as a pre-teen. Where as a woman you have to choose between your inner soul calling and your obligations to your child. Both are extremely important and leaving one for the other is a loosing game either ways. All I can say in this movie, it was beautiful to see everything work out. There is so much comfort in that.

I LOVED this movie. I was already all about Brandy and was so excited when this came on. I got my cartillage pierced partly because Brandy had an earring when she and Olivia first meet at dinner after the concert. I knew a little girl named Kyla I called Kayla accidentally a couple times I watched the movie THAT much. At like 4:53 you can hear B saying OK like she was getting direction and they just missed it in editing. I always wondered if anyone else caught that?
