If you're not seeing the man in the second clip it's because... There isn't any. It's not the same story, actually the dude in the second clip is not being cheated on, he IS a serial cheater himself. And he got caught and tried (with no success) to explain himself ;) The twist at the end is that Bazooka is in fact secretly sleeping with that friend's mother, so... that's awkward!

C’est trop marrant de voir Diam’s/Vitaa puis Fatal/Vitoo regardé par des étrangers ! 😂 La « réponse » des garçons est juste magistrale !!! Ils les imitent à la perfection, les textes, les vannes, le clip sont juste géniaux ! Il faut savoir que Diam’s a validé la parodie de sa chanson : ça l’a fait beaucoup rire, et elle a dit à Michael Youn qu’il lui avait « volé son flow » ! 😂

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Diam's feat.Vitaa. This song "Confessions Nocturnes" (Night Confessions) was released in 2006 as the third single from her third album "Dans Ma Bulle" (In My Bubble). The meeting between the two artists takes place in the studio where they had to record voices on a rap compilation. From there is born a friendship and of course this title become cult! In 2021, the song celebrates its 15th anniversary! In the clip as in the song, the two girls stage themselves: "Vi" and "Mel". Vi, desperate and in tears, goes to join her friend "Mel" in her apartment to tell her that her boyfriend is cheating on her with another girl. Mel reassures her by telling her that her boyfriend is fine but Vi has proof that her boyfriend is at the hotel with this girl. Mad with rage, mel decides to accompany him to take revenge for his infidelities! First they break his car and then ring the bell in the room of the two lovers to explain themselves to them. It turns sour, they decide to leave. Mel tries to calm Vi down by telling her that she has met love but Vi has doubts about their relationship and decides to check her boyfriend's answering machine! She comes across a few messages, one of which is not reassuring. Mel's boyfriend does cheat on her and Vi ends with these words "Mel, you're going to spend your days in the dark, Mel, I know it, I feel it, I'm sure, he doesn't care about you.. .". For the second video, the song with the clip was parodied by Fatal Bazooka in "Bad Faith Nocturnal", Michaël Youn playing the equivalent of Diam's and Pascal Obispo playing the equivalent of Vitaa under the name of Vitoo. The parody takes up almost plan for plan the script of the song and the clip of Diam's, just reversing the relationship between the characters: it is Vitoo who is cheating on his friend. I recommend you a huge hit from Diam's from his second album in 2003, the title "DJ" which was a summer hit this year! Thanks for your amazing work our Frenchie American crony. 👍🇫🇷

To understand the parody you have to understand that is an answer to the original, vitoo was the Vitaa's husband, so the story was about how vitoo answer to the vita's song Sorry for my english, i hope you can understand me 😂

Diams was indeed a talented rapper in the early 2000s and this song is still one of the best duet singer Vitaa has done (not gonna say what her worst duet is). You entirely misunderstood the second song. It's the exact opposite. HE cheats on HER and she figured it out. So she's (rightfully) upset, she destroyed the car and could finish him off at this point. In fact she has her brother follow him and he plans to beat him up on Tuesday. In the parody, he's the one cheating on her and his friend tells him he needs a better girlfriend even if they are the ones in the wrong. The guys gets beaten by then girl when she opens the door cuz in the original the women sings about being scared as they get in the boyfriend's apartment and rough him up. In the parody they joke about her not being a woman but a ninja. In the original, the friend turns on Diams at the end trying to convince her that all men are the same and that she doesn't need a man despite Diam helping her the whole time. In the parody, the friend says he knows Bazooka sleeps with his gf and when he calls, it ends up being his mom that he's sleeping with.

The two videos cannot really compare: they are on different registers. The second one, which is over the top on purpose, without listening to the lyrics, loses a lot of its appeal.

I discovered the version of Fatal Bazooka before that of Vitaa/Diam's and I found it moderately funny. But it was while listening to the original version (Vitaa/Diam's) that Fatal Bazooka's version really made me laugh. The first version is so pathetic and ridiculous that I found it uncomfortable.
