Khan, yep ... that's neat! It's amazing to see how inquisitive and unreserved they are! I do not want to make any extra work for the team, but, for my vote, I'd like to see more of such under-water fotography! BTW: how's the water? It looks clean, but, is the temp "good" for swimming? You do not seem to need a wet suit. PS: are there any Namibian outfits that offer "Dive/Swim With the Seals" tour packages? That might get our attention!

@@Dowlphin You do realize that the seals have no natural predators on land, and that all their predators punch their meal tickets when the seals are in the water. That is why they sleep on land, because it is safe.
@dvduwu3 жыл бұрын
They're super aggressive on land because they're vulnerable, as can be seen by how much faster a human can run than they can. In water, they're much less anxious about humans and end up much friendlier. The thing about seals is that if they COULD run, they WOULD. In water, the predators that attack them normally have to ambush them or chase them for long distances, so they have time to react if the ambush fails. On land, it doesn't matter if they know you're there, since you don't have to ambush them to outrun them. In water, they can flee. On land, they can't.
