Yo walcom, I think I gknow whats wrong with your potentiometers. You probably have a linear taper potentiometer installed, which is not what you want. You need a logarithmic taper pot. Its a problem I've had to deal with when making volume control knobs. (Basically linear pots when used in non digital systems go from almost off to 100% on, log pots were made to combat this. They use a logarithmic curve, so in analog it slowly ramps up to 100%.) (So either use an arduino to control the pots, try using a larger pot *100k+ ohm range* , or find some log pots.)

I don't know why everything was so grainy and washed out, I tried to fix it the best I could using some tools. Same thing with the audio.

Minor critique I can see is the gun needs adapter for single stack magazines BAD. It’s sort of like the problem a early SAW might have with different magazines than the squad. A solution I can see is potentially a side mounted magazine well, or a katana style adapter.

I was also having the problem of the pusher getting stuck but I just filed the area that goes around the screw port a little bit and left the screw about 1/2 a rotation from all the way in and it never jams

Awesome bit of kit -I'd suspect most of the problems you're having are just the teething issues typical of anything new. It'll probably take a few rounds of QA for them to work the bugs out, particularly from the feed system, just because this is relatively uncharted territory. Interesting to see its (apparently) double-stack double-feed -I would have though Nerf darts are too squishy for that. Single-feed has its own issues too though I guess.

I've got a quick question. I added a 7.2V chrap battery to a stryfe and as soon as the dart is inserted between thr flywheels, it stops immediately. The battery is fine since I've done the same with my rapidstrike. I've done a simple rewire of the stryfe and still doesn't work...can the motors be dead or am I just dums?

I have a dominator with two 42.5 mm worker (straight)cage with two set of worker black flywheels and 2 set of worker neo motor. It average around 175 with accufake dart. It works really good when using good condition darts.

The shell does look like a Nerf Railgun, I would go with one high end flywheel cage and a bunch of coordinated led's that pulse with each trigger pull.

Yeah, for multiple stages you want to change cage/wheels/motors per stage to get up to the speed and crush needed for that high performance; giving you what *looks* to be the same setup for each stage isn't going to do much for it.

Am I understanding that they are running seven motors worth of current through the potentiometer? Or did I misunderstand your description of the circuit? Because if that's the case I mean... what is that? 140 amps at stall or something? I can easily see that cooking anything in the line but a Mosfet. Or at least maybe arcing. Lawnmowers pull less current than that thing.

I genuinely think that if you made a blaster the length of a .50 cal sniper; that you could fill the comically large barrel with flywheels. This would then remove someone from the earth, if you have something that could power the flywheels to the max. Especially because even a spring powered blaster can give you a welt.

The magazine doesn’t work in other blaster and the cheapest way to get good internals is probably just to 3D print cages or get someone to 3D print cages for you however most aftermarket cage won’t work with magazine because the cage needs a wider space for the darts like the cages it comes with

I'd say you lose performance using multiple canted flywheel cages, and really the key to multistage flywheels is having higher RPMs as you go through the stages.

Lovely looking gun. But! I just use an elite Rapidstrike with a Rampage drum magazine fitted with homemade infrared night scope. It runs like a goddamn ba***rd, and works out a hell of lot cheaper than this bad boy. It's certainly a beauty though.😉👍

Workerkit have done you a disservice by sending you their crap accessories. If you want to use this blaster, there's a lot of engineering that goes into making it reliable. However, when you do, you can put a hole in your wall with it. Properly done, it's an absolute terror on the battlefield. I have some videos on my channel going through my adventure with a triple brushless / solenoid setup sofar, but while it's reliable, I have more work to do to get it nice to use.

At the end of the day this is compatible with swordfish internals and is $10 more. $10 for a swordfish with 40 round mags and mounting holes for afterburners. This is a great shell with an awful kit by worker. I think this blaster represents a larger problem with worker. They are making some of the more dangerous parts of our hobby way more accessible. People who don't know how to mod shouldn't be buillding afterburners by hand but can just one click buy a kit that's next to entry level mod kits and not understand the risk and consequences
