I have two interests in this blaster; One, if they come out with a double-stack 20 round magazine, it would be very svelte for its capacity, and would make an EXCELLENT hvz secondary. Two, I have heard that there is likely to be a brushless kit for it, and making a stealth flywheel blaster is something I'm very interested in. Speaking of, Sabrina and I would LOVE a Build Guide for making the quietest flywheel blaster possible, when you have the time and interest.

For the paintjob: If you tried to make at least some panels flat black and taped off your x-strike logo before that so it is left translucent (maybe orange) and backlit that with LEDs that would probably look awesome.

I'd recommend both the infinus and Commandfire over this one, for that. But serious kudos for keeping differently abled nerfers in mind. This is one of the reasons I cringe whenever someone disses rev-switches (Compared to the now ubiquitous triggers); I have a friend with weakness in their middle finger that finds it almost impossible to pull a rev trigger, so the switch works MUCH better for her.

@@Fusako8 Hmm, yeah, the infinus does have 30, though if you have trouble with mags you may also have trouble loading darts into it's reload mech, which kind of defeats the purpose. Maybe you could find someone selling just the drum though... Question, could you friend perhaps use a long pull two stage trigger that first revs the blaster then fires it? Of course if she is okay with it revving all the time, then the rev switch works fine.

Having a good look at mine today. Was trying to work out how to switch voltmeter on and off. Then it hit me. Those holes you pointed out. The mounts inside are the right size for standard nerf switches. You can wire them in to turn on voltmeter or lights. The black button just sticks out the hole. Really good design.

It takes up twice as much room in mag pouches, but with 2 extra mags that’s already 120 darts. It’s a capacity monster. Running like 220 darts would be super easy.

My vote for the paint job is tint the shell orange, then use a flat black vinyl die to paint the vertical sides black. Also mask off your logo so the orange shows through. Finally, light it up with orange LEDs from the inside.

Drac tested it, with 3 cages it got a max of 145 so yea, you can get better performance with high crush and fangs on 3s

I seriously want to just mod that out to the max, like full auto kit, 3 flywheel cages, if I can do it and make it work, variable fire rate, just making it insane and probably not allowed at any airsoft war (not that I would know because there are no events around here, which is why I am more in airsoft now)

I doubt it. I think it is way too wide. It would certainly be possible to mod blasters to take them, but not that easily.

Probably not the best combination to use because it would be expensive as neocats are 14usd a motor and the eclipse cage is 100usd and the neocats run at 36krpm and even putting them on 4S only gets them up to 44krpm as well as puts their stall current up even higher and what you could do is rhinos and 43mm cage and worker wheels as stage 1, krakens, 42mm and white workers as stage 2, revamps, 41.5m cage, worker black wheels and 3S for the final stage but that’s just me.

@@CaptainXavier Well think about it. If worker found out about the inaccuracy before the release with only one cage inside, chances are that somebody thought about afterburners to regain accuracy, and might as well get more velocity from a third, because why not?

Indeed. Makes sense. Plus it is a wonderfully modular setup. You don't have to use multiple cages but can if you want to. It really is a genius design.

@@CaptainXavier I would set mine up with like a Rhino motor in the first stage then Neo rhinos in the second stage, with another rhino to replace the pusher motor because I've heard of the pusher not returning smoothly in it. All in all, I'd run a dominator all day every day

Depends. What motors, what cage, what darts, what purpose? Better what? Range, FPS, accuracy, spin up, momentum, installation, noise? There are too many variables involved. Also, I have no idea.

Ok so I’m no longer in the snow, meaning I can ask the same question but I want to run a 41.5 crush system on krakens for nerf wars, what would give less dart death on waffle tip darts

Neither. I would recommend the Containment Crew Wheels. No matter what you do a high crush cage is going to destroy darts. It is unavoidable. The Containment crew wheels are heavier and thus maintain top speed better thanks to interia.

Also it has a better form factor, more internal space, extended battery tray and battery door, better switch mountings, picatinny rail top and bottom, a built in hand guard, extended mag release, built in mountings for full auto kits, mountings for kits we don't even know about yet, and is clear. The cost of applying all of those to a stryfe would more than make up for the cost. That last one, being clear, is impossible to get in a Stryfe. So no, it is not just a more expensive stryfe.

@@CaptainXavier Fair. I was saying that as yours currently is, there isn't a whole lot of difference. The kit itself is very different from a Stryfe, but not using full auto or any extra features just makes it a powerful semi-auto with a good mag release and rails.

Not your fault. This is probably the first time you have made this joke on my channel. That fact that you can't see how the light in my eyes dims just a little bit more every time someone asks this about something that CLEARLY cannot take a spring upgrade means you don't understand just how old and annoying this joke has gotten. It is absolutely fine when it is a serious question about a spring powered blaster that I have yet to cover. I invite those comments. No, because I do not have 3 matching sets of cages/wheels/motors. Also...I'm not sure I have a battery with enough capacity to power 6 3s motors...

Because if they don't match they will not necessarily be perfectly aligned, which will result in inconsistent readings and make the whole operation more pointless than it already would be. I do have two batteries which if run in parallel might be enough. But since they would NEVER fit in the shell, what would be the point?
