I looked at the Carpuride but ended up choosing a Chigee AIO-5 BMW, works similarly with full CarPlay / Android Auto, fits in the BMW sat nav mount and is controlled through the wizziwheel on the bike. The biggest difference was that the Chigee, in my opinion, is a far better quality manufactured item!

You need to update! The BS version is fully compatible with the BMW selection wheel.

There is another model that can use the whizz wheel, costs more though. Not seen a Chigee, maybe they will send me one to compare? Quality of manufacture is critical for this devises as there will be a lot of rain to deal with.

@@FenTour Up till now. The Chigee users claim its better for two reasons. A) It can be controlled by the BMW selection wheel. B) Its better quality. Both those claims are now wrong. The Chigee is more expensive, so it will need to be "Claimed" to be better quality. It isn't. The New BS Carpuride is fully compatible with the BMW selection wheel. I believe, Any reviews, claims must be backed up with solid user experience. I've used them all. After my comprehensive use, I can stand by my claim. Ref the weathering point. I used the 702 last year for six weeks in Sweden, Finland and Norway. Trust me. It was persistent heavy rain for six weeks. There were no issues. I downloaded all the maps before I left onto google maps. I had zero navigating issues when out of cell range. This W702BS is the ultimate unit. The seven inch screen is absolutely fantastic. Once you use the 7" screen, you'll not want to go back.

Absolutely, as it runs CarPlay then if you can get a GPX onto one of your phone apps then it will work on the Carpuride. Cheers.

Can your pillion with a cardo hear the sat nav instructions as well as you ? Regards Robert

I like it, just hope it's better than the nav VI. What a disappointment for the $$$$. I will look it up, I am in the US

It’s called an Adventure Bike but most like me mover stray off the Tarmac. It’s really a touring bike that some people (who are insane) take off road. Haha
