Learnt that overload thing the hard way all the spiders were running away or had some mines dissapear while i overloaded it so couldn't mind the original mine tilted me then found out you can do it after mining and herbing.

Still not convinced. For the laced you can overload, kill the mob, loot the ore or herb and then the mob. What changed with your technique ? By overloading first you even get the cd reduction from looting the ore/herb you've just overloaded. Overload doesnt prevent you from looting the ore/herb ...

Probably profession shuffling and doing the weeklies/treaties/Patron Orders on each one. I did a half assed run of all professions and I have 120 in herbalism/Mining(but still green tools QQ), If I remember right, I think theoretically you can get 10 more Herbalism from renown 14 with the Arathi and 10 more Mining from renown 12 with the Capital City faction, not sure if enough rep in the game yet, tough. But costs a lot of gold (I stopped at about 100k cost) and time, took me almost the entire day to do everything, probably with a plan and route you could take it to under 3-4h on a single char. :)) IMO, its better to just wait for reset and slowly build up, don't think it will make a huge difference unless you are going ham and gathering for many hours each day to recoup the investment. I happen to have plenty of time inbetween clients at work, so basically do it all day long, so for me its worth it. Another tip, Darkmoon Faire is this week, so 2-3 more KP from that as well.

Wait sorry im returning after 4 years so these overloads are to be used after every single ore or herb? For ex i mine 20 nodes i use 20 overloads huh! :O

No, it has a 12 hour cooldown, but everytime you mine a "special" ore/herb, the cooldown shortens! And you can spec into different branches in the "Overloading the... " to shorten the cooldown even more! So basically you want to use the overload spell whenever its available! :)

there's nothing wrong with overloading first before picking up node. you'll waste a an hour in its cooldown since its a elemental node unless overload is mins or an hour less, then ill do pick up before overload.

Wasting the cooldown and losing the node (usually) are two perfectly terrible reasons to overload first.

@@ikicanwow I don’t use overload and I make more gold then advertised here I just go into bismuth/plethora of ores with mining fundamentals and make 80ish kpgh

I didnt know the Darkmoon potion worked on current content, and the Overload before thing is fantastic. However, didnt the Overload itself gave some reagents in DF? I remember getting elemental reagents whenever I pressed the button, and then got some more from the herb/mine itself. Overall, I think the Overload nodes are worse too, don't know if people think that aswell.

Awakend ore/herb gave rousing order in DF otherwise it’s pretty much same overload effects, weeping deposit spawns a mob just like the lava one in DF. Maybe you got more rousing regents in DF but less mats from overloading
