Hi Tom, I wanted to say I really love how you evolved your videos! Im here since you had about 300-400 subs and I really like the well edited, to the point video! I completely agree to the point of plastics, but I'm not sure about the point about nutrition... I'm also experimenting with my nutrition and trying to get the best possible. Currently trying Vegan and its working very well for me! But for that I really need flaxseeds and soy. It's pretty important because of Omega 3 and Proteins. And I definitely don't want to eat any highly processed or fake meat stuff... But to quote the article: "Effects on testosterone in men: Contrary to popular belief, studies have shown that phytoestrogen intake has no effect on testosterone or other androgens in men." So do you think it's still bad to eat these foods? I also feel like it's hard to come to a conclusion, because there are several studies and research sometimes pointing in different directions. But would love to hear your opinion :) Cheers, and keep up the video quality and style ;)

hey thank you so much brother I appreciate it ❤️ hmm, I'm not entirely sure. For starters I think fermented soy is still okay. But if soy is a crucial part of your diet and you can't avoid it then its not the end of the world. Phytoestrogens like soy and flax are the least harmful form of estrogenics because theyre all natural. www.biodynamicwellness.com/top-10-estrogenics-ways-to-minimize-exposure/ that link has a list of the things you should really be looking out for. Also, its not necessarily about the effect of testosterone, that's not really something a study would be able to show, the testosterone decline happens over a longer period of time, but high levels of estrogenics are also extremely detrimental to your health in every other way.

if you're going vegan I'd just make sure all the plant products you're buying are pesticide and hormone free and don't eat junk to counteract the difficulty of getting calories in

Interesting topic snd some good points. Im pretty sure soy and flaxseeds lowering testosterone has been debunked though.

yeah maybe the videos a bit out of date ahah i think the core of the message though is often the way to increase your testosterone is more about removing certain things than adding things in

If fat people I know are cool cz they have estrogen in them than I think a little bit of estrogen is good for all of us
@TomHurls
@TomHurls 8 ай бұрын
Estrogen is good for us, the average male is supposed to have about 20-55pg/dL. The problem is, foods like soy contain almost 15,000pg/dL likewise the other estrogenics I spoke about. There's nothing wrong with estrogen inherently but at the rates it now is in people it causes infertility, cancer, heart conditions, obesity etc. etc. The point alphagamer was making is that a lot of these estrogenics (also key difference between natural estrogen and estrogenics), like BPA are stored in fat because theyre lipophilic and so a great way to loose a lot of toxic estrogenics would be to loose some fat mass.

@@TomHurls yes ! And doing cardio regularly like jogging is a great exercise to lose fat , what's ur opinion on cardio ? I think these social media influencers are totally wrong that cardio causes muscle loss
@TomHurls
@TomHurls 8 ай бұрын
yeah that's very true brother. i do cardio 5-6 times a week (5k a day split between the beginning and end of every resistance training workout) and I've been steadily gaining muscle mass, so definitely not true. Definitely do cardio brother, this is the season to become athletes.
