I'm not sure how Ashville, Daniel and the team manage to make a 18 minute video about changing the boom on a material handler and have me hooked from start to finish... I seriously think they could make a feature film about cleaning mud from a dumper and I'd pay to see it in the Odeon...

@@TheByard no use trying to convince that dude. From his comment you can tell he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It takes a very skilled operator to do that job safely AND efficiently. Not only is he swinging that bucket but he’s also maneuvering that machine all over the yard.

Uraaaaa, a train montage at last, I've missed my fix ! I'm really glad that you've got everything sorted out, and your wise words at the end are so true: You need to build great relationships with your suppliers and contractors, and give staff the right tools for the job to keep everyone happy and make Ashville more efficient and cost effective. Well done! ❤

Very impressed Daniel, its been a long time coming, and working with Liebherr & GBFR to resolve an ongoing issue which would benefit yourselves, but their companies as well. Looking forward to see what other improvements you can do at the yard to innovate for your customers and drive efficiency (like your bagging plant.).

Hallet & Silbermann, Thats a name from the past well I'm talking the 1960s and setting the main supply and spoil loading site. At Ferry Lane, Tottenham where tunnel spoil was brought to the surface via a bottom dump system from the twin tunnels. Onto a conveyor belt up an incline and dumped in the yard for loading into Halls 11 cy trucks using a Matbro FE loader. H & S did a lot of equipment installation and transport for the Victoria Line tube project. I would like to suggest casting a level slab, to store the spare bucket and carry out the swap. This will ensure the pins line up easily and hoses don't drag in the dirt. Again, speeding up the changeover even more.

the content of your video is already amazing. i dont think you need to create all this artificial "drama" every 2 minutes. it makes it cheesy, and reminds me of all these documentaries where everything goes wrong at the exact day the film crew is doing the filming "will the bucket clear the first wagons?" well, yeah, its obvious from the video that it will

The nipple's can be seen and are not connected to grease lines. So it's the jolly old grease gun each shift. I used to get paid an extra 1hrs. pay per day to grease, oil and fuel the item of plant, so it worked or was available 12 hrs. per shift.

Daniel, I'm still impressed in your faith of LIE-bherr. It just seems like they miss sold you the LH60 and probably carried the wrong tape measure. How did they also mess up the connection having sold you the spec you wanted and site visits? As much as you advocate for LIE-bherr, I would say generally your videos, and all the issues with the LH60 and other Liebherr plant you have, doesn't put them in the best light.
