I travel on buses quite a lot in Teesside North East of England and I've noticed all bus drivers wave at each other it doesn't matter which company the Bus is from but they do say we are more friendly up the North than down south lol probably because the mortgages and rent are cheaper lol and we are not stressed out as much as them down south lmfao

They've since made it sooner, but if it's a stop with one passenger in London, you can get stopped, pick them up and go before the end of the destination name! Maybe the '## to Destination' announcement should announce the moment that the doors are opened, with no delay to make it more effective? I don't know really!

Seldom hear it these days, the Arriva bus on the 121 at Trent Park Golf Course could have used that announcement recently, I boarded the lower deck for Enfield Island Village, before I could sit down, the bus moved off so fast, before I sit down, or hold a handrail, lost my grip and almost fell on the floor, if it wasn’t for the kindness of passengers, why do bus operators employ car get-a-way drivers?, I got off the bus at the next stop, as the driver did not even know what he had done.

Come to Japan! Most bus drivers in Japan will wait the passenger to be seated and then speak "we are departing" in Japanese when the bus ready to move away from the bus stop, and also moving off from a red light. =)

That message would work if a computer was monitoring if people were standing on the bus. It would then only trigger if there are people standing. Change it to "Please hold on when the bus is moving" and it can trigger at any time and still make sense.

this change is not at all sad. theyre replacing the b7tl wright eclipses with enviro 400 mmcs. the b7tl wright eclipses have been on the 343 since 2005 so you could imagine a fleet revival is needed. its quite sad to see the b7tls go after 13 years of solid service.
