I hope sykunno didn’t receive to much hate for this, it’s not his fault for getting a great offer by riot :D The better question is why does riot not allow a lot more high viewer streamers to co stream the finals ( obv involving the hard working co streamers!! ) Also i watched the vod, and it’s totally fine not having 100% knowledge:) it was super enjoyable! Also dl and sykunno Are a Great Duo :D Maybe they‘ll invite him to a few live views or co streams in the future xD wouldn’t mind at all

LS and IWD seemed mostly okay with it, both never expecting a collab with Riot anyway. Their viewers were far more upset and the decision was very dumb. But even the people that were upset seem to have directed their anger at Riot for the vast majority

It's a smart retention based marketing play from League that targets people that stopped engaging with League of Legends. All the current LoL players are watching the official LoL stream while Sykkuno is bringing in a completely different audience of mostly people that quit league but like the larger community (OTV, older gen players that know scarra and doublelift, etc.) .
