I used to main Thresh/Morgana for years, but in the last year I've switched to adc main because it's much easier, and a lot less macro to focus on, so i can focus fully on micro, and follow the support lol And also Jinx is just awesome thematically. And she has a Star Guardian skin, so really there's no comparison. I guess Soraka does too but.. i was never really good with her i guess. Why did i type so much? Idk

I always love the pros need one tricks. The don't and even if they do most pros are going to still be better than the one tricks. The problem with one tricks is it makes it hard to adapt to what your opponent drafts and different comps. This thresh doesn't have above a 50 percent win rate in diamond why would he all of a sudden be a good pro? People don't understand the difference between diamond and challenger. Being a one trick in challenger is a feat but people who just add 2 more champs often have an easier time get to rank 1 because they can adapt.

The range you are allowed to throw the lantern is slightly shorter than the lantern's maximum range (for someone to take it, or before it breaks out of range) Thresh came off his base with Mobility boots, giving him much higher movement speed than doublelift. So the idea is to maximize the use of the lantern's range and his speed to get doublelift back to his lane faster to catch the creepwave crashing at his turret. Instead of throwing it backwards (shorter range of lantern travel, and considering doublelift still has to keep walking at his slow movement speed after taking the lantern), the thresh throws it slightly forward, then runs the extra distance ahead with his mobies to the max range of the lantern, just in time for doublelift to reach it and take it, hence maximizing the use of thresh's mobies and the lantern's range. It might not look like much, but the pay-off for the adc is catching more farm and exp, hitting power spikes slightly faster etc. hope that answers it. cheers!
