I am from Canada and local Trini doubles are similar but they don't have as much vegetables in them. I would love to have an authentic doubles from Trinidad. I have had roti and bake & shark too in Toronto. Great food.

Dave Warren there is a roti shop in Scarborough. On. Just outside toronto. They make the best sahenna and doubles. I forget the name but any local can tell you

I have been there, but often then are closed for long periods of time unfortunately. Love their macaroni pie, kurma and tamarind balls, too.

Doubles is no longer a poor mans meal because as usual everyone finds ways of increasing the price for there own greedy. Of course the size of the doubles is not increasing with the price.

sheldon sookoo I can afford it I just don’t see the justification for selling one double’s for seven dollars when the ingredients to make it never increased. Nor did the size or quantity that you receive increased. You can say what you want but it’s highway robbery at its finest.
