Thank you for your analysis of how the OC is playing. Your recommendation for the Gem confirms what I had planned to do. I had just used the Gem to shoot 802 in our state (Washington) Open, winning first place. Not bad for a 68 year old fart. (My partner shot 756.) I bowl the OC at the end of June and am looking forward to going. I take 6 teams down there so even if I bowl bad I will have fun with friends.

Save the 106 game to start D/S, I bowled better than I did the past three years. My spare game was a no show.

This is why I bowl Joe's tournaments GIBA , the fall and winter classics for me this is frustrating enough and also challenging too. Great video Ben .

My equipment left for Vegas without me so I played my events cold and I honestly forgot elements of my approach. I’m proud of my singles block (560) but I’m already planning to do it right next year

The USBC needs to really change the recording rule with nationals. PBA players can record during their tournaments but the bowlers at nationals can’t? I don’t get why they’d be against it because channels like yours inspire people to bowl and really keep the sport growing. Not allowing people to record at events like this just kinda shuts down the opportunity for people to make content. Idk as a bowling KZbin channel we feel like the more of us, the better it is for the sport

Rev rate doesn’t really impact my recommendation. The biggest ball you can throw, as straight as you can throw it, as long as you can.

It is extremely disappointing that we cannot view the 'core' of your content due to tight restrictions set in place by the USBC. I almost feel like I understand what happens more at a PBA event than a Minors/USBC tournament, and that should alarm the governing body. Whilst it may not be their job, position or modus operandi to expand the sport of bowling, it is terribly unfortunate that the body of the USBC appears to misplace their foresight on bowling content from creators such as yourself and others. There is an opportunity to naturally expand the visibility of the bowling community and sport though mediums such as KZbin. I do believe it is time for the USBC to revise their rules to allow creators to film their experiences by generating an application process of sorts. This application could be set forth with fair and just rules for content creators, such as dates of when content can be published and giving clear reasoning as to why and what punishments could incur if one were deemed to have broken a stated rule. Of course, this creates more work for the USBC that they may not have time for, but they cannot have a slogan, "A Future for Our Sport" if they are not trying to look forward.

The problem with 'publish dates' is private sharing. Although I agree it is a good idea, honest implementation would be impossible. It would have to be open publishing regardless of date if/when they bring it back.

That is one thing I did not consider. With that, I believe it would have to be an all or nothing ruling with that new information. Whilst there is more I could say, if I ever see you around south-central WI, I'll buy you a Spotted Cow. Keep up with the content when you can!

The usbc is a joke anymore! All them sanction fees paid every year and don’t give out anymore awards. Why even get sanctioned anymore? When 80-90 percent of the league bowlers don’t bowl in tournaments.
