When you take into account Kelly’s methodology, coupled with his high rate of recidivism, he really does emerge as a genuine predator. It’s quite unnerving how exceedingly close he is to being a straight up horror show.

As someone who’s worked in prisons (as research or administration), Mr. Robert Sylvester Kelly should be classified as a Sexually Dangerous Persons (according to Massachusetts Department of Corrections) or a Sexually Violent Predator (according to Virginia Department of Corrections) or whatever is the equivalent by the State of Illinois when he’s released from federal prison. He’s still a danger to society and needs to be monitored..if he makes it out of prison alive. Yes, it’s true that sex offenders are NOT well-liked (by other prisoners), to put it *extremely* mildly. Even murderers and drug traffickers think child molesters are the worst people on Earth! Also, as temping as it is, I don’t want him to be raped in prison. Rape is so heinous I don’t want it to happen and all (government-run) jails and prisons in the United States of America must be compliant with PREA (Prison Rape Wlimination Act. Mr. Kelly will be not in general population, in a solidary cell, and allowed 1 hour out of the cell each day. That’s sufficient punishment for me: he is not able to escape*, like his adult victims felt that their freedom was taken away from him. couldn’t. *Prisons are much more difficult to escape from than in the past (pre-1994), and federal prisons are even harden to escape from, especially ADX Florence.

He was found not guilty because they couldn't prove the girl's age on the video. They knew it was him but there was no date on the video to prove the girls age. The girl also wouldn't testify and her father testified and said it wasn't her on the video.

Korey, this shit isn't hard to find. The R Kelly trial info is on Wikipedia... And old articles in the Chicago Tribune. The Trial went through several delays, years. There was additional evidence( additional sex tapes and nude pics of the same underage girl in the sex video that got released to the news outlets in Chicago) that was ruled inadmissible b/c the courts ruled that the police seized them without probable cause. And lastly, the defense argued that R Kelly was not the man in the video... BUT what the jury could not determine was the age of the girl or clear identity of her in the video. That's how he got off.
