You should add: - A long single shot of the crew talking of everyday stuff. - A cameo of some old forgotten Hollywood star who QT loves - Gangster aliens - Steve Buscemi and/or Christopher Walken as aliens. I've never seen any of the old Star Trek, just the new trilogy (i actually like them better than any of the star wars movies), but if QT actually writes and/or directs a Star Trek movie then i'm all in.

It’d be nice to see an exploration of the seedier side of the Star Trek universe. It seems highly improbable that crime and vice would go away simply because we developed the capacity for FTL interstellar travel.

I heard about this. While I'm curious what I would really want to see is the Dark Tower done by Tarantino. I think you guys are being unfair. Just look at what Seth McFarline has done with the Orville. Seth was/is a Star Trek fan and the Orville plays like a love letter and I like the sweet nothings he whispers each week. New ideas and new blood needs to enter this franchise about as badly as it's needed in Hollywood and politics, so why not give him a chance ?

I would add given Tarantino it would have to have a revenge based plot line. Only the last three ST movies each had revenge based plot lines. The first one Eric Bana wanted to kill old Spock. The second, NOT Kahn wanted to kill Robocop. The third Mr. Smooth UK accent wanted to kill a space station because the Federation abandoned him like a dumpster baby with a skin condition. I don't know what revenge plotline he could use now. Somebody stole Kirk's briefcase?!? OMG, that'll be it. It will be a full McGuffin chase. Well as long as he gets Simon Peg to write it, it might be OK.

Tarantino on ST? Jeri curls in space? Now I've heard it all! If-- by chance-- this miracle does happen, I'd rather Quentin be in charge of dialog rather than plot. I wouldn't be able to watch it without internally referencing easter eggs from any of his other movies. Is there some other STOS episode Hollywood can pull from if they can't come up with something original? THE WRATH OF KHAN was a great re-purposing of an ST episode but it's more than done to death by now. Tribbles? A white gorilla unicorn? Something!

When it comes to the Tarantino/Feet thing: I know he didn't have anything to do with the following, but I could almost swear that Quentin must have wrote the following sequence from the first "X-Men" movie, with Rebecca Stamos as "Mystique" ^_^: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omLLiGt5e8eGqLsm33s That being said, you've got to give the man credit: Because he has such an unusual fetish, most of female stars in his movies have no problem walking around in bare feet, or having the camera focus on them for overly long stretches of time. Hell, if I had his clout I would get all my female stars to go topless ^_^ (and then have them sue me 20 years later for sexual harassment 9_9) At 10:40 : Holy Crap! Neil Degrasse Tyson was a pimp in the 70s? ^_^

I think it's pretty ridiculous to compare Django's use of the N-word to the possible use of it in Star Trek. Lol you're saying just because he used the n-word a lot in a movie SET DURING TIMES OF SLAVERY (where it was pretty common to say) that he's gonna use it in Star Trek now. Doubt it, and a dumb argument. I get he uses it in his other movies as well, but those were HIS movies. This is a new property, he's gonna have limitations.
@foldingchable17 жыл бұрын
Matt D I have to agree with him. This is a Paramount ip and I highly doubt they would allow him to use the n word in the Star Trek franchise.
